If the BlackBerry Tour isn’t your particular brand of vodka and the various other QWERTY handsets on Big Red’s menu don’t rub you the right way, the nation’s biggest carrier may have something right up your alley coming down the pipe. According to a post from last night, Howard Forums member StandardsDT decided to go [...]

Following our post yesterday and the ensuing outcry, it looks like Verizon had a change of heart where BlackBerry Tour pre-orders are concerned. Are you a current Verizon Wireless subscriber whose spirits were crushed upon learning that pre-orders were only open to new customers? Fret not, future Tour addicts, as Verizon’s site is singing a [...]
Aww, crap. Just when we thought we were finally going to be able to get our hands on the ASUS Eee Keyboard, an ASUS marketing executive had to go and ruin the fun. Apparently the Eee Keyboard will not be launching by the end of this month as expected, but sometime in August instead. The [...]

The back and forth continues. Following Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam’s comment that the Pre would be hitting VZW shelves “over the next six months or so”, Sprint issued a brief official statement confirming that its Pre exclusivity runs through the end of 2009, at least. While specifics of the exclusivity deal remain a mystery [...]

So far in our coverage of these two Verizon-bound handsets by LG, feelings have certainly been mixed. The LG Glance — with its 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, VZ Navigator and slim frame — has not garnered much love on the pages of BGR. Seeing as it’s an entry-level feature phone of course, [...]
There’s no question — the HTC Snap was in dire need of yet another moniker. Snap, Cedar and Willow were hardly enough so our pals at Verizon have gone and added another name to the pile… Say hello to the HTC Ozone. With Sprint’s version of the Snap jumping off this Sunday, we had a [...]

Following some comments yesterday from Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam, the Internet exploded. The highlight of course was the un-revalation that Verizon would be adding the Palm Pre to it’s portfolio once Sprint’s exclusivity expires. The part that grabbed everyone’s attention was the time frame however: “six months or so.” Could Sprint’s Pre exclusivity really [...]
