So much for mSuite5. Nokia announced today that it will launch a new software application next month with IBM to bring OEM Lotus Notes support to select S60 phones. The Lotus Notes Traveler solution will become available initially for 44 different handset models and will make S60 accessible to “140 million licensed [Lotus Notes] users”. [...]

For those who have managed to remain completely unaffected by the current state of the global economy - and who really dig Kung Fu - this may be the best thing to happen to you since your money. Nokia China has just made a special edition N96 available and it packs all kinds of punch [...]

We’re not sure if anxious Spaniards will be more or less upset by this news, but we now have an explanation of the massive 54% premium found on Nokia Spain’s pre-order page for the 5800 XpressMusic. Like it or not, the extra €150 can be accounted for as follows: a mandatory €100 Nokia Music Store [...]

There it is people, looking sexy as ever - we can only hope that the “X” doesn’t stand for “Xtra crippled”. It looks like we’re now pretty close to seeing AT&T formally announce the E71, rebranded as the E71x, as a welcome addition to its smartphone line. The 6650 made it through the AT&T branding [...]

In a move that has been very long in the making, Rogers has officially acknowledged that it will be carrying the Nokia E71 in the near future. With the N95 8GB being such a huge seller, Rogers is hoping that the E71 will prove to be popular not only with consumers who are seeking a [...]
It took a third-party developer to bring push HTML email support to the world’s most popular smartphone OS. We’re not sure how to feel about that but the bottom line is Dataviz has done what no one else could do to this point with the latest version of its widely-acclaimed Roadsync solution. Roadsync is not [...]

European countries seem to be getting all the little surprises these days. First Germany gets its hands on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 with no warning and now Spain gets a little treat of its own - kind of. Here’s the good news: Nokia’s Spanish site has just unexpectedly made the 5800 XpressMusic available for pre-order. [...]

No, the Nokia 6650 is most certainly not the most capable S60 smartphone out there. Truth be told, it’s probably not even in the top 20. Today’s announcement from AT&T that the 6650 is now official and available nation-wide is still huge news for Symbian fanatics here in the US because it represents what will [...]

One thing we can give the folks over at Nokia - they never cease to surprise us. In a very uncharacteristic and peculiar move, Nokia has begun shipping trials of the upcoming E63 even before the handset is formally announced. In fact, the devices being shipped aren’t even being delivered in retail packaging. We first [...]

Sorry S60 gamers, it looks like Nokia tried to pull a fast one on you. Back in May it was learned that despite initial claims made by Nokia reps, N-Gage purchases were tied to device IMEIs and transfers would not be allowed. Woh there, Nokia! After an eruption in the S60 blogosphere, Nokia responded by [...]

Well hello there - Nothing quite like a leaked internal roadmap to cure even the most dire case of the Mondays. This table is chocked-full-o-goodies but don’t get too excited just yet. What we have here is reportedly an internal prototype roadmap of sorts. Several of the handsets on the list have likely been scrapped, [...]

Mark your calendars comrades, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be ripe for the picking starting December 5th. Ringing up at an even 15,000 rubles - which is hardly as expensive as it sounds (about $550) - Nokia’s first touchscreen-rocking S60 handset will indeed be ready and waiting to be snatched up for that special someone [...]

Score one more for team Nokia - sort of. Remember that $800 CompUSA price tag on the Bold that everyone laughed at? Well, it looks like the condition might be contagious. The good news for all you Nokia fans out there is that your favorite Finnish phone manufacturer managed to land another handset at a [...]
