Back in August, LG officially announced the new LG KC910, the successor to the LG Viewty. Officially given the name LG Renoir, the phone has made its appearance in a few pictures snagged from it168.com. A short review of the specs will remind you that it has Quad-band GSM, UMTS (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps), 3 inch WQVGA [...]

Without heavily banging the drums or dropping confetti, Verizon silently launched Dashboard, a Flash-based mobile storefront. The LG Chocolate 3 is the first to carry the application but we can expect to see it on plenty more phones by year’s end - resulting in the largest mobile implementation of Flash in the U.S. (get with [...]

Plenty of awesome-looking gear was flaunted at the CEDIA expo this past week and wallets will soon be shrinking all around the country as a result. From $35,000 70-inch plasmas to, well, just about everything else you would ever want to stuff into your home theater, gear fans around the globe are drooling over the [...]

Thanks to the diligent work of one of our ninjas, we’ve come into contact with a new Verizon rebate sheet. While it does reveal a couple of goodies, the sad truth is that there’s not a whole lot of substance on here. No mention of the Blackberry Storm Thunder Storm, HTC Touch Diamond/Pro, or anything [...]

If you aren’t planning to catch the Hogwarts Express when it leaves on September 1, you might want to use the time you’ll save packing between now and then to run over to a Verizon store. It seems as if they’ll be discounting select data devices through the end of this month. Prices of discounted [...]

LG and AT&T announced the LG Invision handset yesterday, a mobile TV-equipped phone that is being heralded as the smallest mobile television-capable product on the market. The Invision, aside from its TV capabilities, is a pretty run of the mill affair, sporting a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, 3G (of course), and little else. Viewing TV [...]

Looking at LG’s freshly-announced KC910, one word keeps popping into our minds. No, it’s not iPhone (ok, maybe a little). “Android!” That’s right we can’t stop thinking about Android. Why? Because we can’t wait to see LG dealing phones as sleek, sexy and functional as the KC910 - but with a smart OS to seal [...]

We don’t have much to go off of besides this picture right now, but it looks as if LG is keeping the PRADA line of mobile handsets around for a little bit. The PRADA II, as it’s pictured, adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for easier text entry. Let’s not fool ourselves… the original PRADA phone [...]

In yesterday’s post about the Samsung Instinct, we semi jokingly suggested that the Instinct was Sprint’s attempt to keep customers from jumping ship come July 11th. Apparently some readers were offended by the allegation and here at BGR we try not to make the same mistake twice. So with regards to Verizon’s newly-released LG Dare [...]

Word from Verizon is that the new LG Decoy will be available this coming Monday for $179 with a new 2-year contract, no signing bonus, but we didn’t want to wait until then for new live pics. So behold. Truth be told, it’s not nearly as ugly as we thought it was - In fact, [...]

Today is a big day for Verizon. The company announced 3 shiny new LG handsets, each with a specific market niche in its target. All of the handsets have been circulating through the rumor mill for quite some time, but it’s always nice to get official confirmation, right? The LG Dare is an all touch [...]
