Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 heading to AT&T and T-Mobile?

There is word floating around that Sony Ericsson is planning on two variants of the XPERIA X10. While it’s far from confirmed, it appears as though SE’s plan of teaming with U.S. carriers to subsidize this bad boy is working out. Both versions will have 3G support for their respective carriers, which means the T-Mobile version will have support for the 1700MHz band. SE is also saying it plans to have this phone out in early 2010, so we’ll find out sooner than later. We’re just wondering what pricing will be like since this device will have to be heavily subsidized to come down from its $700+ price tag. Hit the jump for some device specs.

I wouldn’t expect AT&T to carry this until their iPhone exclusivity expires. That’s a big why reason there aren’t any AT&T Android phones yet.

Unfortunate Xperia X10 a master piece goes into hands of such unreliable networks.

Yea but good news for both of them. Somethings is coming their way after Verizon ate up the competition via Motorola Droid.

I would rather see HTC’s Passion or whatever over this.

Did you guys miss the last posted articles about recent Sony launches? Phone looks very nice, but can we trust Sony?

Not to mention the first Xperia was rumored to be on this carrier and that carrier and ended up being picked up by NO(?) U.S. carrier… mostly cause Sony took forever and a day to release it.

But w/ 1GB storage AND Snapdragon processor… shoot. Tell me there’s a flash for the camera and I might be sold.

If previous SE experiences are to be used (P900, P910, etc) this phone will be 12 months late to the market and buggy as hell….
They create great concepts but never follow through

I am sooo tired of tmob!! I want out, but unfortunately I’m still under contract. This is the best phone tmob can do, and the android phones they have are a joke! I hate long-term phone contracts! :-(
