Bell to launch the Samsung Galaxy on December 10th?
As it currently stands, Bell is the only major Canadian wireless carrier that doesn’t have at least one Android handset in its line-up, but if the latest rumors are to be believed, this will only be the case for another couple days as Bell is said to be getting the Samsung Galaxy i7500 on December 10th. Because it’s received little attention Statesi… er Province-side, we think it’s worth quickly running over the specs: 3.2″ HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Wi-Fi, GPS, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 528MHz processor, 8GB internal memory and it’s running Android 1.5 “Cupcake”. Pricing is still a mystery, but hey — Bell users have had plenty of time to save up.

Lately, more than ever, news and reports on here have title headings that end with with a ?
agree.
plenty of info, but not too much solid until it happens
Confirmed by Samsung rep going around and giving training…
In fact, Bell will launch 2 Android phones soon.. not just one.
Adi
Late but atleast came up with it
Ah, what t-mobile should have instead of the behold 2.
“…Android 1.5 “Cupcake”..” !?
Keep on chewing Bell!
Utter crap. Cupcake? Wow.
$599 outright,
$200 3-year contract discount
and then likely a $200 data lto
sooo should be $199
Since it’s on bell, I assume it has 3G for NA networks (850/1900 UMTS). I might import this, the Rogers Magic, or a Hero. I need an AT&T enabled 3G Android device!
If you’re going to do that, Telus is getting the HSPA Motorola Milestone (aka the Droid) early next year, and Telus uses the same bands as Rogers, Bell, and AT&T. I’d hold out for that one from the current crop of phones.
…it also has a scratch-resistant display.
