Picked up an ipod for a gift for Christmas. You are right, hardly a discount. If I didn’t have to buy one anyway, this wouldn’t have been enough to convince me to get one.

Talk about bogus! $101 off a $2000 computer? A joke! Not even close to enough to get me to buy when they resellers consistently beat Apple Store pricing anyway.

In these tough economic times, it’s good to see Apple slightly lowering their prices so those homeowners in trouble can at least stretch it out another month or two before their foreclosure or banruptcy settlement. Meanwhile, I heard Jobs is having the hardware on the front doors of his mansion replated with 14k instead of 18k gold in order to bring you this exclusive sale. LOL

I don’t see what everyone is complaining about. No, it’s probably not a good enough sale to get you to buy one now, but if you were already going to buy one, it’s nice to get some kind of discount.

And if you’re really upset about it, just wait til tomorrow and buy your Apple products full price.

Shit Apple only made over a billion in profit last quarter, they better not get too crazy with sales!

So, are Apple’s profit margins, Mr. Job’s gold plating, and skimpy discounts enough to motivate you to put your dollars into a company that *does* offer truly affordable products?

This is just a little something for the faithful; it’s not meant to sway people. Apple knows that their products arfe going to be purchased.

I’m surprised that there was no discounting of the iPod Classic. It doesn’t make up the lion’s share of their sales, and I was looking forward to getting a 160.

I have apple products including imacs/ipods etc and this deal is horrible. Oh well. I’m sure the Apple fanboys will be happy. More money for their Birkenstocks and beard trimmers.

After taxes, there’s essentially no discount in California. May as well get it on Amazon (no tax, and a small discount daily) instead.

You gotta be Kidding Me!! This is why people hate apple, and the Yuppie reputation will always plague this company. I can get a better deal with my student discount. Don’t get me wrong I have an ipod touch, love it. But when HP at Best Buy is selling Desktop+Notebook+Laptop+wifi router all in one bundles for as low as $1299 – 1699 all three wIth windows 7.. vs Apple 100 of it’s $2000 Mac Hmm you see something wrong with that picture? Really? Do You?

Many people are really rushing-in to department stores and retail shops to avail of big discounts this coming black friday up to cyber monday. It’s a great time to save hundreds of dollars on selected items. Here’s a good addition to your list. Apple ftw for small electronics

You people DO KNOW that there are other places to buy Apple products other than directly from Apple right? MacMall has pretty decent sale going on this weekend.
