What’s that sound we hear in the distance? It’s probably cash registers at AT&T going wild as today, the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 is publicly available for sale. The device was offered up to Premiere customers starting at the top of the week, but since general availability is this morning, we have to ask… are you going to hit an AT&T store and grab RIM’s finest? Or maybe you’re on T-Mobile and snagged one already? Let us know in the comments!

Well, I picked mine up today. I trade up from a 9000. The optical ‘trackball’ works flawlessly and most applications (Gmail, Google Maps, UberTwitter, vPost, etc. work fine. It is quite a bit smaller that the 9000; about the size of a Curve. The 5.0 OS is snappy.

Did you receive an answer to your question re: streaming live net radios on the Bold 9700? Radio website I went to said it worked with Bold 9700, but I receive a message saying I need Flash Player. The Adobe Flash website lists operating systems, but does not include the BB OS.
