Motorola Motus coming to AT&T? Full specifications

We’ve just received a full spec list for the very blurry Motorola Motus and it’s pretty interesting. Why, you ask? Besides AT&T 3G support, the specs are pretty similar if not identical to the Motorola CLIQ. Our connect didn’t flat out tell us that the handset would be hitting AT&T, but hey, we can dream right? Here are the full specifications for the Motorola Motus:
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Tri-band 7.2Mbps HSDPA (850, 1900, 2100MHz)
- 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash
- 256MB RAM
- aGPS
- Wi-Fi
- 3.1″ capacitive 480×320 display
- Bluetooth 2.0
- Weight: 133g
- 1400mAh battery
- microSD slot
- Qualcomm MSM 7201A CPU
- MOTOBLUR
Last but not least, we’ve been told the Motus is not a slider but a unique “flip” phone. That’s all we’ve got for now, but we’ll keep you updated as always.
Thanks, Daddy G.!

Android for AT&T? Doubt it. Apple won’t let them. If this comes out, it won’t be until the iphone-AT&T deal is over.

Luke Wilson should take the X off of that board under the category best smartphones for sure now.
speaking of Luke Wilson, he is as hollow in his acting performances (save his ladies charm) as the map he is representing in the ad.

I’ll take this as a step in the right direction for att. I feel once they get at least one Android phone, they’ll start to bring more in. Here’s to hoping we’ll see the Droid sans keyboard some time next year
According to android and me, it has tmo’s 3G frequencies as well.

It’s pretty much a sure fire handset suicide for anyone to release a smartphone on ATT these days. The iphone is cheap and in high demand. This would never sell well on ATT, and I doubt ATT even wants it since tethering works on android without ATT (or vzw’s) permission or additional charges.
They’d pretty much have to price it at free w/2yr contract in order to move more than a few handsets with the iphone being 99 dollars.

@Delusion FTL,
Where do you get that verizon is not charging for tethering on android? You need to check again because they advertised tethering on the Droid would be an extra 30 bucks a month.

you can install free tethering apps on the droid that work without paying the tethering fee.
What’s up with Motorola and horrible keyboards? Can we get an offset keyboard? Is it really that hard? And 480×320 display? Seriously?
If it goes to AT&T, it’s going to fail, since it offers nothing the iPhone doesn’t have that people really care about other than a physical keyboard. Next!

if it came out today. I would buy it.
its just the “left-handed” version of the Droid
if you look at the pic, it looks like its a CLIQ taking the pic and there are some ceiling tiles up ahead.
I’m laughing out loud @ “Bring home the whoopers” comment; “this photo was taken with the motorola droid” bahaha!!! Excellent!!
When the hell is tmobile gonna get an android phone with an led flash camera
