Apple’s Black Friday deals leaked?
One of our connects just hit us up with some intriguing Apple information. According to them, what you see detailed above is a shot of Apple’s yearly Black Friday deals. It’s reported to be something Apple will email out shortly. This time around, it looks as if Apple will be offering up to 30% off on all iPods (Update: excluding iPhone and iPod shuffle, sorry), up to 25% off Macs, and up to 15% off all accessories as well as Apple software and hardware. The deal is only good for the day of November 27th and if that’s not good enough, “select” Apple stores will open at 6AM. This is unconfirmed but it doesn’t seem too unrealistic. Thoughts?

Well that’s all great and dandy I just hope the stuff that’s on sale isn’t already refurbished
I mean you can buy all of those things already online via apple refurbished store…they offer 15% off and up.

I say fake. It’s amateurish, and the deals are too high for Apple. 25% off *any* Mac? I’ll believe it when I see it.
If Apple can mark 25% off across the board on all Macs that means they are way overpriced. That’s insane.

why are people ignoring the “up to” part? that means one computer can be 25% off and the rest could be 1% off.

Didn’t anyone notice the words “up to”? Have you ever seen a hotel ad advertising rooms for $29.99 “and up” and stopped in to find that the cheapest room available was $50? “Up to” is a classic butt cover.

(its recession Apple Marketing folks, by giving your phones a discount you are making it easy for people to switch loved ones to iPhone’s for Christmas).

Last year they had a similar sale. I got an ipod touch for less than 200 dollars with tax. 24 hr sale on black friday online and in store.
Being that I worked at Apple during last years holiday season, THIS is NOT new news. Keep in mind, employees get their hardware for 25% off excluding iPhones, so this is credible. Last year was the first year Apple participated in the Black Friday events, however, don’t expect to get a deeper discount after the fact if you miss out on the deals.
