Yet another Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 UI leak, this time with media player love

Back in July we fought back drool while watching a leaked video of the custom UI overlay Sony Ericsson has prepared for the soon to be official XPERIA X3. Today, we’re repeating the process all over again as yet another UI video has surfaced, this time dealing specifically with the media player. Looking wonderfully polished, well thought out and seemingly liberally borrowing styling cues from Microsoft’s Zune HD, the overall hotness cannot be denied. Yes, indeed, we cannot wait to get some hands on time with the XPERIA X3 so we can pit it against Motorola’s DROID. Hit the jump to check out the video.
Thanks to everyone that sent this in!

Is that Kanye West telling you that the Motorola Droid is the best Android device of all time?

I think its a euro only phone as no one has yet to even speculate as to the U.S. carrier and it will mostly likely come close in price to the experia X2…i hope not but its starting to look that way
haters will always hate. if you had it sooner, you would just be accused of stealing.
They could earn more of my respect by taking that disrespectful West turd off the still.
They also missed that the X3 moniker is not accurate.. GSMArena pretty much confirms it as the X10.
It might be important to stress that this video easily could have been made on a graphic-enhanced PC. There is no evidence at all for – and that disclaimer against – the idea that it was actually on a PHONE when made.

Looks a bit Zune-y…I’m liking. I hope this can be ported over to the DROID (sorry, Milestone) when I get one.
damn this is sexy, definitely took a lot of things from the zune but i love the zune interface so that’s a good thing
the interface overall is amazing, beats the iphone by a mile
i just wish this phone was coming to verizon in 5 days instead of the droid, well if this gets ported over to the droid i will definitely root my phone to get it
BGR is the first place I come to keep up to date. I don’t want to go to 30 places to find the same stuff I find here.
Back to the subject: after what Sony-Ericsson did for a year with the X1 (lies, delays a a lame product) I don’t even care for any of their devices X3/X10 who cares. I can’t trust SE
yo
Can’t wait until this phone comes out! I had the X1 and ended up getting rid of it and reverting back to my Blackberry, but I’ll definitely have to check out the X3!
I think you guys are trippin… Sometimes BGR will get news first, sometimes Engadget does. Who the F cares? We are getting the info and if you cant appreciate it (and different points of views on said news) then please find a hole and cry yourself a puddle that you can stick your head in and drown (haha jk)
But seriously, just keep on truckin BG… always look forward to the articles.
Verizon just got the Droid as their iPhone contender.
Sprint has the Pre as their “contender” and AT&T has, well, duh. Come on, T-mobile, this phone with your new plans would be orgasmic!
*cough**coughZunecough*
For all the hype & hoopla about the DROID this version of the EXPERIA may steal the show in the global market.
Zune is ghey
This is the Android phone that I’ve always wanted, way before the Hero, Droid and Dragon. Too bad, it’s not going to release on a CDMA carrier. Still can’t wait for tomorrow though.
I’d much rather have this animated Zune-ish UI than a Iphone close UI. I think this looks amazing. Plus if this is where the software was in August I’m guess it should be way more impressive.
For those speculating that the UI is ‘faked’ with CGI.. my opinion as a developer on Android is that this is an emulator running their UI they have prototyped.
Personally, I think the color scheme is terrible (it reminds me of Windows XP) and I hope they choose to go a different route. If not, I’ll be editing their source code.
Here’s what I don’t understand:
If you’re “stacking money straight to the sky”, you’re no really “drug dealin’ just to get by” are you?
