Apple: Support for Windows 7 before end of year

windows-7-boot

Things always get a little chippy between Apple and Microsoft when Microsoft one company is preparing for a large OS release, and with Windows 7 it has been no different. Justin Long and John Hodgman have been all over our televisions throwing subtle digs at the newest OS to come out of Redmond. However, Apple is — from a support standpoint — singing a different tune as the Mac maker has announced plans to fully support Windows 7 in its Boot Camp software before the end of this calendar year. The announcement (if you can call it that) came via a knowledge base article on Apple’s support website and states a software update to the Boot Camp software and an Intel Mac will be required. All this bickering reminds us of a scene in The Dark Knight where the Joker explains to Batman, “I don’t want to kill you! What would I do without you? No, no, NO! No. You…you…complete me.”

@Stale Pancake That was spot on… Apple, the king of all mud slingers, is once again behind the times.. And to all you Mac fan idiots out there, piss off! If Mac was so great why are you all running Windows and why don’t you see PC users begging for the Mac OS for their machines?

Well Davie, unfortunately, 90% of the computer market consists of complete idiots like yourself, so we Mac users must load up Windows to run any 3rd party software.

Basically I’m saying that if you weren’t a retard, I wouldn’t have to.

    Davie,
Please don’t show you low 10th grade education. If Apple whored themselves out the way Microsoft has then everyone would have apple OS also. Put it to you this way so you can understand it. Mercedes would never allow Ford to put their emblem on their cars because at the end of the day IT’S A FORD!

@richard very good point my friend. @Davie In all honesty I do not want apple to turn out the way Microsoft did and own the majority of the market. The more Mac users there are the more more malicious viruses and problems will come our way. There is a reason why mac users never have a problem and why PC users are under constant attack from spyware bombs and massive internet viruses! we stay under the radar, like 007.

p.s. This is an unbiased opinion because I have run windows all of my life. The new Mac machines are gorgeous and the OS system, which I have been lucky enough to demo, is flawless in my opinion. I can see a MAC in my very near future.
