Motorola Droid mailers go out, scare children
Ready for more Motorola Droid nonsense? Good. We’ve just got a couple images of a promotional mailer that went out to one of our connects. It has a pretty decent shot of the device on it (What? You need more photos?) and those ever-clever “I do” key features the Droid, uh, does. Check out another two shots after the bounce.
Thanks, The Busymind!

Two things . . .
1. For questions of price, it will just be like adding a smartphone plan to a voice plan, which is 39.99 with unlimited texting.
2. I’m curious as to the advertisement . . . Did anyone notice what company has trademarked the DROID term? (written on the left side) Lucasfilm Ltd. Where on earth did that come from? And what does Lucasfilm have to do with this? Any thoughts?
@ZacMan:
Seriously, have you ever heard of Star Wars?
Thats because Lucas owns the word Droid. Before Star Wars the word didnt exist. Lucas patented their word
Great! Just great. I was within a few weeks of finally dumping Verizon – not because I was unhappy with the service and 3G (although I did grow to HATE my Moto Q 1st Gen) – but because I would be far more happy with Sprint’s more budget friendly pricing structure. AND, they had added an Android to their line, which cinched the deal for me.
Until I saw this. Could the Moto Droid running Android on America’s 2nd 4G network – albeit with a pricing structure and fee’s that are way out of control be the launching pad of Motorola’s march back to the top?!
Something tells me yes . . . and while the HTC Hero still holds a lot of interest, the few features we do know and the sci-fi angle adds an air of hip intrigue that will make it tough to turn my back on Verizon now!

So, I just cracked the coded countdown on the droid website, really simple, it can’t be accurate as it is counting down from about 5063000, leaving us with 58 days until release.
Best Buy is suppose to sell this no later than Oct 28 for $599.
@ A said “pinoytutorial is spamming”
Are you joking? I count your post here in this thread alone and it’s more than 15. You should know that posting without links doesn’t mean you are not spamming. So that count you as one then too
You said the website P.T don’t contain info?
then I guess you need to rub your eyes a little bit.
pinoytutorial sources doesn’t only come from one site. but an entire collation of tech blogs. And the purpose of adding links to a comment is for the betterment of blogosphere.
as we said again, motorolla droid may be good on “aggressive” sales but do it too much and they might saturate their aspiring buyers

woooow, well first off,
anybody who subscribes to brand loyalty sooo much that they would deal with the ridiculous bull shit that goes with an iphone is fucking retarded, idk about anyone else the idea of paying for every app and not being able to send video and pictures is dumb, my 1999 nokia could send pictures.
and second, anybody who would pay that much for a phone without a removable battery or upgradable memory is even more retarded.
point is, that if u really want to compare android to apple, then apple loses, open source is where its at, even apple is considering switching but theyre to money hungry, anyone who still subscribes to the bullshit that goes with an iphone in about a year from now is just brand loyal and stubborn, all the proof is there that the android os blows apple’s out of the water.
so please consider the fact that u have a piece of shit phone from a piece of shit company next time you post a comment about something you obviously have no idea about.
sooo uh i have a question
when you pay for the “smartphone fee”, do you pay the 30.00$ or whatever a month AND for minutes and unlimited texting and picture messaging? or is the messaging included in the fee?
The $30 fee is on top of whatever other features you have.
