Verizon Tweet: Palm Pre early next year
Oh the soap opera between the Palm Pre and Verizon Wireless — it’s denied, it’s confirmed, it’s tweeted. VZWOffers has reiterated announced that Verizon will indeed have the Pre “early” next year. America’s largest carrier will seemingly have the BlackBerry Storm 2, Motorola Droid, Tour, and Pre in their lineup at the same time — Big Red is starting to show some love for the hardware!

It’s amazing how all you have to say is “A particular wireless provider will have a new phone in it’s lineup!” and boom everyone acts like their mother was murdered in front of them, pass up the reason and go right for the inappropriate name calling. Yes, Verizon has historically crippled their phones. Yes, they might be expensive. I’m failing to see what that has to do with this article. good web os is amazing os.. and vzw has a great network.. real important for someone like me who wont be trying out either.. they keep the pressure on sprint and ms and google.. so whoever has the best os with wm7 and eclair or flan ill be getting that on sprint
Personally i think its a little too small, but i like how there are more offerings across all carriers in general.

Wow, I think it’s a little pathetic that people compare a cell phone company to one of the worst men to ever live throughout history. It’s a company, offering a service to you, if you don’t like it take your business elsewhere. They obviously don’t need you. This is fantastic news. The most important thing is for WebOS to continue to gain a foothold. While personally I love the Pre, it’s the OS that makes it incredible. Having more and more carriers committed to WebOS devices helps to ensure that it has a chance to reach its full potential.
