HTC HD2 looks T-Mobile bound

tmo-htc-hd2

T-Mobile users that have grown accustomed to nothing but boring handsets might want to have a change of underwear on standby before reading any more, because it looks as if Magenta is actually going to offer a a handset of lust-worthy proportions.. According to TmoNews, its carrier namesake will offer the Snapdragon-powered HTC HD2 sometime in the near future, although it does not appear to be a part of Project Dark. We’re going to go and hit up some of our T-Mobile connects to see what they have to say on the matter, but in the meantime we suggest that those of you who are into it start praying that T-Mobile doesn’t ask for silly money if and/when it launches the HD2.

Thanks to everyone that send this in!

I love T-Mobz and I know why, just like I know why I would go to my local Credit Union for a home loan rather than Bank of America. But it’s a free country. Each to their own!

Honestly, I think T-Mobile is starting to pick up the slack if you look at all there upcoming phones they are gonna have the best line up of 2010 compared to the other carriers. 2010 might be T-Mobile’s year.

I have absolutely NO Idea why these Haters get so Jealous and seem to want to insult people so horribly. First of all Devil I make DAMN GOod Money and I have been with T-Mobile since the Very Start and Voicestream before that.

I cannot tell you how Ignorant some people can be on here to actually want to hurt somebody with False and Horrible comments.

Ok people NO CARRIER IS PERFECT. I have Never had a Major Problem with T-Mobile and I’m sick of people sitting on the internet and try to Blast them because it became “COOL” to do so and not actually think for themselves. My 3G has always been Consistent and FAST, Prices are Fair, and Customer Service PHENOMENAL.

With that said I think all the Haters are just upset that it may not come first to their own carrier. Now you know just about EVERY carrier will probably be getting a Variation of this so Please lets all be civil to each other. And no, being on the Internet does not give you free reigns to be an Ignorant, Hateful, Insulting Fool.

Good day, I know I will with T-Mobile Improving at the Speed of Light lately.

Repeat after me. CDMA.is.SH*T. Always has been sh*t, always will be sh*t. The only difference being that Verizon is expensive sh*t, and Sprint is cheap sh*t. Even the lowest second rate GSM HSPA provider is infinitely better than the best CDMA provider. The funny thing about the average obese insular stupid American is that because it almost universally doesn’t even have a passport let alone travels the world, it doesn’t realize there everybody else seems to use GSM based technologies.

Hi Chris, while Americans are sometimes surprisingly insular, CDMA is far from shit. At a recent modile show in San Francisco I had ongoing issues with data connectivity on AT&T’s GSM network while Verizon’s CDMA was flawless. Indeed, while I had to perform demos on GMS devices, AT&T coverage was so bad that I used a Verizon MiFi and hooked the AT&T phones up to the MiFi using WiFi and the Verizon network, which actually worked. Granted international roaming and the ability to do SIM swaps are important for people who do things like phone demos at Mobile World Congress, for many who live in the US CDMA is not only a valid choice but in many ways it would be the superior choice. Funny world.

Wow, all these if your on Tmo your poor people are IdIOTS.
Do you people go through life introducing yourself and then say “BTW i’m on ATT?” Nobody cares you don’t like Tmo. Noone cares. Seein as most people stay around mostly their area. A phone company says here’s a 3G smartphones pay us $50 eat up all you want baby!lol Suck up your pride idiots. Dont be mad at Tmo because the person next to you at work or school or next door is paying $50 less than you for the same service and better phone.

Just like I said in the post about the T-Mobile UK spotting of the HD2, it looks like this phone is headed for T-Mobile. T-Mob reception totally sucks in my neck of the woods – which would make sense because there’s not a single T-Mobile store here for 100 miles.

Why do you do this to me HTC, why??? I mean honestly, a phone would make me jump ship, as long as the company it’s with has good coverage, including my home area!

It’s already been announced for Europe. I think a carrier in Spain is getting it first. It was posted on BGR already.

I think the HD2 will be a good device for T-Mo. I don’t really see it coming to AT&T because it would be in direct competition with the iPhone. The device looks great and the specs are very attractive. I am sure that the CDMA carriers will get some variation of it on their networks. This looks to be HTC’s next flagship, they are going robwant it on as networks as possible. I have been impressed with the devices that T-Mo has released lately and they seem to release the devices before the other US carriers. Thy are an up and coming carrier.

People are actually fighting on this site? No comment needed there. Service with T-Mobile ranks third on my list with Verizon and AT&T taking the top spots. I’ve had all (including last place Sprint). Never had a dropped call or prob’s with the top two but have had multiple issues with T-mobile (current carrier). But with T-Mobile’s new no contract-payment plan plan, I will stick with them for a bit longer. If this phone joins the family, I will be “T” bound for a loooong time.

You guys are whacked talking about carriers when you should be focused on free wi fi spots. if you want to see the future checkout zii.com Egg platform. I think it will miss the marke maybe but meshd wi fi will be a primary transport with carrier grade ethernet. So I chose Tmo cos GSM provides 15% more battery life among many other benefits. It is a shame they did not leve on two cameras for video conferencing on the go this is ideal for..with 2 cameras though! I am a small uy and worry about the size but if it fits in my pants and keeps me warm ;) But seriously all the free wi fi spots TMO has, it is savings big tie on calls and data. I like it because it truly represents a start of the art computer/PDA/Phone etc. is bigger than a haand held, but not even close to a net book in size. So yeah I will take the screen that gets eaten up by the keyboard and fixed displays. I question the battery life as it has to get pretty warm with that snapping Dragon..still not stem cell computing…:)..
