Unmarked BlackBerry handsets hit Best Buy systems, all due for Oct 25th release?
Before you get too excited, sometimes Best Buy simply inputs incorrect dates into their systems when loading SKUs. What is incredibly interesting, besides the fact they’ve gone through the trouble to conceal these product names, is that in our leaked Holiday Playbook, Best Buy mentioned that October 25th would be a “key date for handsets entering our assortment.” Sounds pretty nice, right? We’ve been told the price range for the five handsets in here (full retail Best Buy pricing) is $249-$599. Five models though? We’d say BlackBerry 8520 in white, BlackBerry Storm 2, BlackBerry 9700, BlackBerry Bold in white, and maybe BlackBerry Curve 2 for Verizon, but this shows that all of them are for AT&T? UPDATE: As one of our commenters points out, SKU 65057 shows in AT&T’s systems as the Nokia 6350 and the 65050 shows as the Garmin Nuvifone.
Too bad T-mobile couldn’t get their hands on the Bold or Tour I wanna switch it up w my iPhone & G1
I would be shocked and overjoyed if one of those were the 9520 Storm 2 on at&t. Then I would not need to take all my lines over to Verizon.
Why do you think they are all BB, cant it be other brands?
I´m moving to the US in mid Oct do you think it´s wise to wait for the Bold2 or go ahead and buy the Tour??

AGreed with Drago, but doubtful! Too bad the Europena version won’t work in the states on 3G.
AT&T is not getting the storm. Verizon has it for 6 months.

Pretty sure Verizon’s exclusivity is up on the Storm. I do, however, find it hard to believe At&t would have 5 different Blackberrys launching.
I’m pretty sure that the “BBM” prefix on those handsets just refers to “Best Buy Mobile” and has nothing to do with BlackBerry.
If Verizon had a 6 month or 1 year exclusivity on the Storm, it expires soon if it hasn’t already. I want the Storm 2 on AT&T.

Storm1’s exclusivity contract is up, but storm 2’s contract is probably for a year. Bold2 is better anyway.

Model number 65087 is the only confirmed blackberry, and its the 8520, the rest i wouldnt get your hopes up on….just saying.
