BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac to be released September 25th?
We just got a heads up from one of our trusty ninjas and they’ve informed us that, yes finally, BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac will launch September 25th. While we haven’t confirmed this with other sources just yet, we’d put this high on the probability meter seeing as how the latest build is running beautifully.

The leaked version was .75 I believe or something close to that. The latest version (in the 80’s) works very, very well — without a hitch.
Any insight as to whether this will allow access to sync with itunes playlists?
Does is allow transferring anything but Music … like photos?
Any idea how to get ahold of the latest build? I’m having nothing but problems with the leaked build.

where can i find the newest build? (v 1.1.0)??
i am using 1.0.0 and it really messed my tour up, now my contacts have about 100 of the same entry (which for some reason wont show if u search for it) but u have to scroll for ever before u come across another contact, some of my most used ones are gone inexplicably, and my facebook app wont wont with my messages folder, the notifications will show up but not be clickable. also i keep geting this weird java error when i do a battery pull.
can somone help? i was syncing with google sync before i tried the DTM, ive since deleted google sync, but i still cant sync with my mac! i even installed DTM for windows on virtual box windows 7, and it wont get passed the connecting to device step..
i want to reinstall the OS and start from scratch..who can help??

I feel you. The same thing happened to me. Unfortunately, the only way to correct the problem is to “wipe” the device and reactivate. Then sync with the program of your choice. Sorry man.

Darshone, just wipe the device and reload the OS.
Nice that the mac version looks way nicer than the PC version.

is there a way to do this without first having created a back up? im on a mac and the DTM never worked when making a back up so i dont have one to fall back on, i tried installing the windows DtM on virtual box with windows 7 and it recognizes the berrry, but it will not progress past “connecting to device” when it gives its first scan when attached to a new computer. i left it last nite for over 8hrs and it still didnt progress, instead i found the prgram closed and no success? other than that, i want to wipe it, but it only appears to let me fall back on a back up, but like i said i dont have one. i really dont wanna go to verizon and pay 90$ for a new phone, so if someone could give me like detailed instructions on how to wipe and reinstall the OS, i would be stoked
What application will notes sync with, or will the application itself handle notes?
Currently using Missing Sync, I’m syncing Device notes to Mark/Space Notebook. Also used Yojimbo for a while but I preferred a simpler interface. Also used Entourage, but it wasn’t worth the surrounding application clutter.
