Sprint’s “Any Mobile, Anytime” offers up just that

sprint-anytime

T-Mobile myFaves, Verizon Friends and Family, and AT&T A-List be damned — Sprint’s “Any Mobile, Anytime” is now the affordable plan to beat. For only $69.99 per month, Anytime offers up unlimited minutes to any US-based mobile in addition to unlimited data, SMS, MMS, Sprint TV, GPS navigation and more. The catch? You only get 45o minutes of good old fashioned land line calling. If that rubs you the wrong way, Sprint will be more than happy to take another $30 off your hands and bump you up to the truly unlimited Simply Everything, which of course will afford unlimited, well, everything. So is this the “wireless revolution” Sprint promised to premier customers yesterday? We’re not sure about that, but it is most definitely a plan no other major carrier can come close to matching for the time being. So for that, Sprint, we applaud you. Golf claps.

    Hey, supertrac:

Sprint doesn’t charge for roaming, and hasn’t for at least 2 years. Moron.

    @ joe cool and Chad

Have you tried the at&t’s 3g network in Houston, Chicago and C. Station, tx, NYC and DC? I travel to this cities a lot, once it picks up the 3g signal it stays solid, full bar (with my Ipaq 610), even beat the hell out of my verizon touch diamond’s EV signal! I closed my sprint account 1 month a go because of the damn roaming fee and most of the time it kept switching from Ev to 1X. So shut the f*** up if you’re happy with that limited choice of CDMA phones! AT&T and GSM world ROCK!!!

YES they did to me! My mom in law lives 20 miles from CS, TX, and that place where sprint has no coverage it roams to verizon. Clear enough? Look it up on coverage map. MORON. do you live there? nooo….so don’t say s**t if you don’t know.

witht whaterver old plan you had you could’ve added roaming for and additional $5 but chose not to and come here and whine. You’ll learn soon enough that att is crappy when you travel and is charging you more for less but oh well

Don, I travel a lot (as a nature photographer for NGC). I’ve been with at&t for 5 years. I’m sorry if you’re not happy with it but I am. The reason I have Verizon now because of their EV network coverage.

I see too many complaints and updates of outages and network trouble with att and vzw is so restrictive while trying t squeeze every penny thay can from subs but att does the same w/crappier coverage. Those roaming agreements cover all my travels from east/west/north and south while spending the majorit ofmy time in the mid-west and have used them about .01% of the time. Any problem I had w/getting EV-DO rev.0 or EV-DO revA can be trace to device problem

    Hey iggy:

If you read the fine print of the “Any Mobile Any Time” agreement it states roaming charges do apply. And plus you get less perks for your buck with the new plan. Its all smoke and mirrors its not actual a better plan at all just a gimmick that sounds good that they are forcing you to change to if you want to or not.

    Sean says:

actually it says “Stnd. roaming rates/restrictions apply.” And then it says, “Nationwide long distance and no roaming charges.”

So it’s free roaming unless you use majority or more than 800 minutes of roaming.

Perks? I get the same price as my previous plan, plus unlimited mobile to mobile. 1500 minutes to landlines? Won’t touch it. Everything else is available to me except chirp and tethering.. care less about each of those.

    ThatGuy says:

yeah, I’m with everyone else. If your phone isn’t roaming or you’re being charged for roaming, you really need to update your plans!

If you’re out of contract, use that to your advantage not as a way to be able to leave when you want. SPRINT has a lot to offer everyone. If you’re out of contract, Sprint will pretty much buy you a new phone, give you like half off your plan, and a bunch of stuff just to keep you there.

The coverage can usually be tracked back to having a shitty phone and roaming charges go back to having a shitty plan. I enjoy Sprint EV as being faster and more comprehensive than VZdubs EV coverage, and when I don’t have Sprint service service it’s OK cause VZ dubs are US Cellular is there to back me up.

Get over AT&T, you move to the other side of the block and you’ve lost your service. T-Mobile is GREAT! But plans are really weird and the phone selection is kinda 2 years ago, especially looking at plans to go with those phones. VZdubs is expensive and offers you less with more restrictions where you can get the same coverage with Sprint and get more with less restrictions.

Get a quad band phone, get a new Simply Everything Plan with AnyMobileAnyTime included free, and enjoy life as it should be.
