Sprint to announce a “wireless revolution” tomorrow

If there’s one thing we love when it comes to carriers, it’s cryptic emails. There’s just nothing like getting speculation swirling ahead of an announcement and what better way than to send out a hype-mailer to get people’s gears turning. Above is an email sent out today to Sprint Premier customers, giving them a bit of a heads up that something big is coming tomorrow via newsletter. Did we say ‘big’? Big just doesn’t cut it, people — this is shaping up to be a “wireless revolution”! We’re not going to make any guesses here, but considering the email references Simply Everything, Right Plan Promise and ReadyNow, odds are good it has something to do with a new type of service or plan offering. Odds are also good that it has something to do with this “Any Mobile” site listed as coming soon that was dug up by our tipster. Anyone care to wager a guess?
Thanks, E!

Yeah, I doubt it’s mobile to mobile for other carriers, b/c to be a Premier Member, I think you have to either have the 69.99 plan (450 anytime and everything else unlimited) or the 99.99 plan (everything unlimited). It has to be something more useful/advanced than that.
Now THAT ! I would be surprised to see…..I wouldn’t mind it quite frankly at this point ( with the speed of rollout of Tmo’s 3G )…..and it would be the 2nd largest network, no ?
I’m Premier and did not receive… sadness.
That said, I’m expecting something 4G related. Market leadership in 4G is the Sprint strength right now. Maybe the only strength. They should play it up.
In the future it’ll be AT&T-Mobile and VerizaSprint.
Maybe that Dan Hesse is a ROBOT, or Steve Jobs in disguise.
Ok…

You’re kidding right?
Verizon bought out Alltel, duh.
I hope they buy out Sprint next. Then they will be the only major CDMA carrier left. Allowing them to get all the CDMA phones first.
yeah but it is free but you will need to have a data plan though and @ BCParker Said if u had the sprint premier program u can upgrade 2 year pricing every year
Confirmed with Sprint and will be switching my plan tomorrow. Any Mobile, Any Time is the new plan. Its not considered unlimited because land lines and business lines still take minutes. It will start at 69.99 for 450min and I know it will have a $169.99 family with 3000min. This totally changes the way a person accounts for minutes and the plans will have the unlimited data, gps, and txting as well. Great for Sprint.
P.S. They still screw me on my bill every 3 months like clock work.
I maybe slow. But what’s the point of having 5 free numbers if you have th unlimited plan which is their go to.
I Think We Need A BIG Group Hug…..C’mon Get In Here..Yes You And You…
As Always Mommy Loves You
BGR, you should report TMO’s BIS is down.
They have no eta when it’ll be online again.
yep. mobile calling.
if i owned any significant amount of Sprint shares, I would be calling for Dan H’s head. Is there any company out there that could possibly botch significant phone launches other than Sprint?
50.00 plus tax unlimited plan or a line up of rugged smartphones
Ive been with Sprint 12 years…this Better Be good. But i dont see how you can do better than Simply Everything unless you lower the price. Even the 1500 Min plan W/ Data cant be topped.
Im thinking that this is gonna have sumthin similar to T-Mobiles loyalty plan…considering this announcement is for premier customers.
Really? IF there is only ONE CDMA carrier, is first even relevant?
I have very little hope for sprint anymore they are in the hole sooooo deep, its time for them to toss in the towel…..
i JUST spoke with a rep today. It’s free mobile to mobile minutes on ANY CARRIER. and it take effect for anyone who has an everything data plan (which i don’t get). It will start on your next billing cycle after the announcement.
and there you have it.
This must be in response to Tmo’s MyTouch promotion on Oprah.
Sprint does have more wifi devices coming out. Especially the HTC Hero. Can’t wait for that one. Oct. 11 is already on my calendar.
@ TxGadgetDude – On my calendar as well… this may be the device that gets me away from Blackberry… it looks amazing.
Why would Verizon want to buy Sprint when they are moving their network away from CDMA towards LTE?
looks like $70 for unlimited data, mms, text, call
Sprint is changing the game. If you are a Sprint customer for 6 months or more with a plan 69.99 or higher or Sprint Premier customer YOU CAN GET AN $150 UPGRADE EVERY YEAR NOW INSTEAD OF THE 22 MONTHS NOW. THATS. I can upgrade every year a new phone comes out. Goto Sprint website!
