BlackBerry BIS down for T-Mobile and AT&T?
We’ve been getting tips about this ever since mid-day but figured it would clear up. It seems as if it hasn’t, though. Are you a BlackBerry user on AT&T or T-Mobile with BlackBerry Internet Service issues? Hit us up — get your frustration out. We’re here for you.
A BIS 2.8 upgrade would possibly explain the issues people are having, but those are usually done with maintenance windows so the carriers know what’s happening and that doesn’t look to be the case with this outage.
My BB Tour on Sprint has been going strong since the day I powered it on… no problems on the BIS

It appears Rim is working on enhancements to BIS for what appears to be an multiple carrier OS update? 5.0?
My AT&T Bold has been rockin’ with no problems.

I have T-Mobile and the BB Curve 8900 and my BIS has been on and off for the past few days.. Today has been far the worse.. As of now its working.
I talked to a Blackberry specialist at Sprint around 5pm EDT after receiving HTTP Error 504 in my browser – apparently the BIS server crashed about 2 hours prior and was expected to be off for another 5 hours. He told me that this would effect a multitude of functions of all Blackberry’s on all networks.
Good thing I was calling for a friend – I have an iPhone

AT&T has delayed my emails by 2+ hours since late afternoon today, and it is still delayed…

BIS mail stopped for me around 2:30 CST and had been trickling in since. Around 8, the logjam appeared to clear up and a flood of email came pouring in.

Dallas/AT&T flaky service all day long.
Bell Canada is also having some problems with BIS. Emails are delayed by a couple of hours.
Email was down for several hours on my TMO BB and my Sprint/Nextel BB.
I still haven’t gotten emails on Sprint BB, even though I know I have received roughly 20 from checking my inbox.
Based in DC but in NYC for work.
Have VZW in the PHX area. No issues to report. Mail has been flowing all day.
T-Mobile, Sprint in SF as of this time is working 747pm Pacific
at&t on bold in Iowa. BIS isnt working since 5pm central. no facebook notifications, emails and texts are delayed.
Verizon Tour operating perfectly in Houston.
Bold on ATT in Austin. No issues at all today.
Been having issues/delayed response from Bold in NYC allllll day. Spotty in the morning, failure in the afternoon/evening.
I have a tour on sprint (in st louis, month) and my emails have been delayed
