The MOTOCUBO A45 is Motorola’s Brazilian eco-slider
Not content with Motorola’s Brazilian division handsets, Moto has just recently announced the MOTOCUBO A45, an eco-friendly full-QWERTY featurephone. It’s nowhere near as sustainable as Motorola’s previous green offering or even Samsung’s or Sony Ericsson’s, but 25% of the materials used in MOTOCUBO are made out of recycled plastic bottles which has to count for something. Why? Because a 2 megapixel camera, QVGA disaply and EDGE connectivity sure doesn’t. Look for the MOTOCUBO A45 to hit Brazil in September for 549 Brazilian reals or $293 USD.

Theres something about it that actually looks pretty nice. Different, like an oldschool “futuristic” design of what everyone thinks the future is going to look like.
looks like a square
Ugh.
Very Truly Yours,

Looks like a cleaned up version of the QA-40… wonder what it looks like “under the hood”
…
um…
…
hm…
i can’t bring myself to compliment it (because it doesn’t really have any usefully redeeming qualities) but i can’t bring myself to condemn it either because at least, it’s different and not like a knockoff of a blackberry or iphone. so um… hm… yeah…
wait there’s more… it also doubles as a coaster. man… this looks like it’s made of recycled material from unsold ATT Karmas.
That makes me feel ashamed of Motorola Brazil., and also for Being a Brazilian…
but at the same time i’m happy i didn’t apply for a Design internship there, what a way to get a bad reputation… really…
lately is seems Motorola is dying slowly.
btw, just for your information, the plural of Brazilian “Real” is “Reais” not a big thing anyway i don’t care.
Moto is cranking out the good looking phones. lol.
