BlackBerry Bold coming soon in white?
At least it’s not pink… We received an email from a professor at York University (in Canada) where we’re told TELUS and now WIND utilize their advanced wireless testing facilities. Since they do so much testing, it stands to reason RIM would be pretty interested in sending them devices to test, right? Well, it seems that RIM sent York University an all white BlackBerry Bold. Here’s a picture of the keyboard and there’s a shot of the back after the break. What do you guys think? Me likey.

dats sick! im sure RIM would sell more of a blacked out bold though.. i doubt this will be any big.. probably just to make some more sales of the bold while the 9700 is out.

u can tell its not real because the towards the bottom of the phone the metal connectors that are used to charge via the charging dock are missing i have the same case on my sisters phone u know its fake also cause the bezel is a diff color than the back rim wouldnt make that mistake

It could be fake. You can buy stuff off ebay to get your bold now to be different colors. It is like 30 dollars and you just unscrew things.

Sadly, i got my white keyboard in the mail only to find that it had 2 ‘H’ keys next to each other and no ‘J’ key. So i didnt install the white LCD lens or keyboard. they need to match. But my opinion, i like the black face with white body.

My boyfriend has a white bold and it doesn’t look too bad, but I do prefer my black one. One good thing though, it means we can tell which is which!

Actually, it is real. They are having a release party for the new White Bold next weekend in Culver City with Cirque Du Soleil. The charging connectors are on the opposite side, FYI.
