Verizon BlackBerry Storm now $99.99
In case you still need convincing that a new Storm is on the horizon and Big Red-bound, Verizon just initiated a price drop for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 once again. This time, the clickable touchsreen-touting handset lands at $99.99 on a 2-year deal. Come to think of it, we’re pretty sure the Tour being $199.99 has more to do with the Storm’s price drop than Verizon’s hopes of gradually burning through inventory over the next few months until the Storm 2 drops, but that’s beside the point. Bottom line: the cheapest BlackBerry ever is now actually cheap.
Thanks, VZW!

I have 2 Storms, and have never had any problems. I got rid of 2 3G iphones, paid the ETF for both, but now with the Storm I have a phone that doesn’t have any dropped calls and the battery lasts a day and a half, plus the screen isn’t yellow.
I guess it comes down to preference, tolerance, and how much of the network and phone’s bullsh** you’re willing to accept. The BlackBerry Storm is not my idea of a smartphone. More like a “DUMB” smartphone. And like @8330Crackhead had said in his own post “(like 99% of the other “Storm sucks” posts here)”. That should tell you something if you’re not so dogmatic. Maybe the other 99% of other people realize something that you don’t… That the Storm actually DOES suck as a BlackBerry smartphone.
Stt stttor storrmmmmm 2!!!!!
@ ToRii
The BlackBerry stuttering started a few weeks before the tuh tuh tuh Tour was finally introduced by RIM. One of the BGR posters started it and it caught on!!
Just wait until the on on on Onyx gets closer to release for more of the same. If you’re a CrackBerry User and Abuser, you gotta love it.

When should the BB storm 2 hit the shelves?
@SQ609
Or, maybe you’re too dumb to be using a decent smartphone.
Yeah, early OS releases sucked. But most of the issues have been worked out and it’s a good phone now. As you’re actually an iPhone user trolling, I wouldn’t expect you to know that. Some people like the Storm, some don’t. The iPhone seems to be more popular among its userbase than the Storm, but ask yourself why a full 33% of potential users out there won’t get an iPhone because of AT&T’s godawful network.
Anyway, go on over to your crappy AT&T network, troll. We’ll be here when you get back.
