U.S. Cellular rebate sheet reveals upcoming handsets
U.S. Cellular subscribers have plenty to be excited about this morning as we’re pointed to a brand new rebate sheet about to take affect. In short, your current hit or miss selection of handsets is about to get a whole lot more hit and a whole lot less miss. Highlights:
- HTC Touch Pro2
- Blackberry Tour
- HTC Snap
- Motorola W845
- Motorola Crush
- LG UX310 (replaces the UX300)
- LG UX700
We already scooped the UX700 back in June but the highlights here have to be the always-sexy HTC Touch Pro2 and the ever-popular BlackBerry Tour 9630. As for when all these new phones might drop, we all know that a rebate sheet is hardly a solid time line — especially considering the validity period of this particular rebate sheet is 07/17/2009 – 11/12/2009. Unfortunately the only safe bet is to say all these handsets will be on store shelves at some point before the holidays. Hit the jump to check out the sheet in its entirety.

us cellular should get the iphone!!!!!!!! end of story. i want that phone bad but i won’t switch to at&t
They must have a pretty solid exclusivity contract on the IPhone. I wonder how long it will be before the other carriers get a chance at it. I’d have bought one, but now I am holding out to get a up-close look at the Pro 2. [Sure wish it had a better camera-- a 5+ megapix with a flash.] Since it is coming out later on USC than on the other carriers it should have Windows 6.5 already installed, as there is suppose to be a major release in early October of the Pro 2s with Window 6.5 installed. I understand that the Sprint, Verizon and T-mobile versions are being released with 6.1 and then the customer can download the upgrade later..
To bad the iPhone is GSM….. US Cellular is CDMA. So unless Apple releases a CDMA version and USCC steps it up on getting good phones, you can forget ever seeing them get it.
Launch date for Touch Pro 2 is Nov 18… Maybe it will come to pass
The iPhone is contracted with one company only untill that contract is up no other cell phone carryer can get that phone.

Well finally the Toch Pro 2 an the Snap are on the USCC site via the url trick!!
Play with changing the last 3 numbers in the web page address / url… such as changing the 256 to 258 and you can see other phone pages.
