This phone is gonna be sweet, no matter which network you get it for. Too bad about the absence of wi-fi, but thankfully that won’t be the case on future BBs.
Ordered for Sprint. No problems getting it other than the disclaimer stating delivery may be delayed a week due to quite a bit of demand for the phone.
FYI, I stopped by the north Nashville Sprint store yesterday to inquire about the quantity of on hand stock for the Tour in order to judge my chances of getting one. The sales rep had never heard of a Tour or a 9630 or any new BlackBerry coming out today. One of his co-workers said that she had heard of it but it was direct ship only. The sales rep told me to go to the Sprint Internet site and order it over the internet or call tele sales. I told him that Sprint was not doing that for this phone. He checked their inventory system and found nothing. He said that they didn’t have any in the store as of 12:00 PM and that means that they would not have any on Sunday, today. Way to go Sprint.
I ordered mine @1am this morning can’t wait to get it on sprint…hopefully they get another new next month cuz I will have that also!….I’m just glad the wait is over now I have to wait on it to arrive damn!!! I wish they where sellin them instore today but oh well hopefully a few more days wouldn’t hurt lol

Sprint isn’t allowing their employees to order the phone until after august (at which point it may be back ordered) and they will most likely not get it until September..
is it a wonder why Sprint has some of the worst customer service ratings of any major carrier. keep the reps disgruntled while raising their quotas each month by 10-18%. good call, Hessey. you and the team are making all the right moves. ;0P
why all the hype for this phone? not sure I see anything special.

Verizon is a quality company, I have no complaints with them. But Sprint is cheaper. So….why pay more?

Got it from Hadley, MA. Only one other person there with me ten minutes before the store opened. Went in, got the phone, went out.
I’m confused… what’s the difference between tour and bold? Doesn’t the bold have wi-fi? I waited for the tour, but without wi-fi, I think I’ll head to the at&t store to check the bold out.
FYI. The Tour doesn’t have wifi and the browser still sucks.
