Looks like a lot of GSM people will be happy that they can unlock the Pre and use it on their GSM carriers of choice.

Interesting – does this mean 02 will not renew the iphone exclusivity deal it has ? – i think its due to end in the next 6 to 12 months.

The pre is great phone. Apple and palm will be battlin for years to come.
Just think about what the successor to the pre will be come june 2010. Then what will apple release in june 2010. Rim and windows mobile will be in big ass trouble once more webos devices become available on everycarrier.
