iPhone UI and Pre UI get intimate, birth new Meizu M8 UI
Meizu first got our attention by churning out a laughable iPhone ripoff and getting tossed out of CeBIT because of it. Ever since then, the company has been working hard to transform the Meizu M8 from a painfully blatant ripoff into a, well, slightly less painfully blatant ripoff. Fair enough. So our guess is around the same time webOS screenshots began hitting the web — coincidentally of course — Meizu began work on its new M8 UI. These images, according to reports, show the fruit of that labor. The new iPre UI, sorry Meizu M8 UI, and associated firmware update are rumored to be reaching market sometime this month or next, and won’t M8 owners be excited. Congrats Apple and Palm; imitation, they say, is the sincerest form of flattery. Hit the jump for more shots.

Meizu is actually makes really quality products. Maybe the money they save of R&B by copycatting goes into materials and production quality. I bought a Meizu Miniplayer about 5 years ago for $100 turned out to be one of the best electronic values ever. It has outlasted 2 iPods, gets dropped, kicked, scratched, burned and still works perfectly.

Even if this ui is pretty it’ll never perform as silky smooth as the iPhone! And now iPhone 3Gs is even better! Everything is smooth as butter!

It is fairly original. Especially the camera and calender icons.
Meizu has good track record in media player. Their product is cheaper, but good quality and spec.
But story is different on smartphone. They need improvement in web browser and phone reception while apps are running.
WinCE is easier for them to develop these new products, but it is hard for them to come out with the needed improvement. They will need to move into Android.
I’m using it,and I used iphone before.Meizu M8 has some advantages just like play video and music.
