I wonder if the tour can be unlocked and used for AT&T – this way i can get the 3G on a Curve-size phone. The bold is great – but big…

BGR, when’s the Tour review part 2 hitting? I’m due for an upgrade, and undecided on whether I want to stick with a BB, or wait for the Touch Pro 2 or Pre (and hope Verizon doesn’t screw up either of them). I trust you guys to give a good lowdown, so I’m hoping to hear from you soon.

Semi-related: All I really want from RIM at this point is a Webkit-based web browser that doesn’t suck. I love my Curve in just about every way, but browsing anywhere that doesn’t have a mobile site is a painful experience.

It looks like they finally went back to a better case design with the sides and bottom squared off instead of tapered like the Curve 8900 and Storm cases. Those cases with the tapered sides/end are so much bulkier than the previous cases with the elastic on the sides and the rounded bottom (like the original curve and 8700 cases). Every time I try to put my Storm back in the tapered case while I’m using a Bluetooth earpiece the case hits the end key and hangs up the phone call.

the Tour keys look alot like the 8800 keys, which are very quiet. I don’t mind the Curve clickity clack..in fact, i think curve >>> 8800 WE keyboard, but both blow any other keyboard out of the water so i’ll hardly be complaining.

but smh @ some broad worrying about keeping her boyfriend up. How about u stop texting other d00ds while he’s sleep.

can sum1 tell me which way it will be faster to get phone. preordering or when it comes out. A a couple of verizon representatives online said that its the 12th is shipment day so they may not be in the stores that day. Its just the day they become available the preorders wont be shipped out till the 13th

Is this the version with Wi-Fi? Oh, no it isn’t. I don’t need it when I have EVDO Rev. A coverage 99% of the time including my basement, underground parking garages, etc. But by all means, AT&Tools, whine about it not having Wi-Fi so when I go see BillyBobJoeRay on the farm I’ll regret it (even though I’d prob still have coverage.) I’d rather suffer there than worry about not having coverage in the city or have constant connectivity problems with AT&T SwissCheese3G.
