Palm releases webOS 1.0.4 update for Pre
We just got a couple tips that Palm has released webOS version 1.0.4 as an OTA update for the Palm Pre. This is rumored to address some corporate Exchange issues and hopefully some other bugs. Let us know the results once you upgrade!

there is no logic in comparing wm and the Pre where hacking is concerned. Palm cannot continue to exist if it requires hackers for its support. what Palm does require for the Pre is to become a staple commodity. that requires commercial success. commercial success requires broad consumer support. broad consumer support will not be based on hacking. broad consumer support will view the Pre and all of webos as a closed system. there is no way around that as that is by Palm’s design. unfortunate for your fucked argument, celz.

you seem to be very ignorant with technology. the day that the pre hits 4g speeds ur iphone will look even more like crap. with 4g the speeds would be about 4x’s faster than 3g so.. cant wait to see get destroyed and devastated by your fail as phone.. oh btw i like that yearly update where apple made it possible to compy and paste and highlight… hmm i though apple said that wasnt a feature wonder why they pushed it out…. ahahahaha thats right they noticed they failed at desiging a better phone that cant even do simple things
better music player + slightly better web browser + bigger screen + app store = better for ME. you guys seriously need to chill out it’s all personal preference and they are two phones my god. but i’m gonna stick with the iphone. i have never had any problems with at&t.
plus the iphone is soooo much faster at loading apps and “save” state is the closest thing to background processing.

Yep I updated and the only thing is fixed loop hole for the homebrew apps, otherwise i see nothing, cause i dont use it for corp use. I love it. I never had issues with Sprint been with them for over 12yrs, always had coverage.

I’m sick of waiting for new apps to come out. My brother-in-law is showing me all these great apps and games on his IPhone. I tell him I have Connect 4 as a game. What’s with that? I’ve got 3 days left to trade this thing back in to get an IPhone. Come on Palm and Sprint – GIVE US TOYS!!!!
The battery life is already really comparable to the iPhone. You just have to tweak your settings (Brightness, 1 hour e-mail check, etc.).
Just discoverd that in usb drive mode I can create folders, toss in pictures, pdfs, videos, & docs. This is soooo valuable to me for my business. Not sure about the newest iPhone but I know the previous version (my wife has) can not even save files, nevermind create user defined folders. THANKS PALM!
