BlackBerry Tour officially hitting Verizon on July 12th
We’re not sure how much doubt a person could have had before, but in the interest of being crystal clear, Verizon Wireless will make the BlackBerry Tour available online and in stores on July 12th for $199 with a two year agreement. You can preorder the device starting from this moment on.

Cool airvents (speakervents) on the side.
I don’t like the power input on the right side.
Love my Bold but wish it were just a little smaller. Tried the 8900 but no 3g was deal breaker.

Hey BG is it worth it to get the Tour or would you wait for the Atlas that you mentioned.
Maybe I should get this phone, my Storm only gets 2 hours of talk time and it dies. I’m pretty sick of it now, and more sick of the excuses, I shouldn’t have to erase everything on my phone and and do a fresh install to get a descent battery life.

I just tried to pre-order over the phone with Verizon. The sales rep told me it looks like they ain’t getting the Tours until end of July/early August. What gives?
Can’t wait… Wait a minute, yes I can. Matter of fact I have to! Comes out in about 2wks,& I can’t upgrade till august 8th! Gonna drop my 8830 for this! This is going to be a seller & RIM top of the line (until S2 or atlas)

Nowhere on Verizon’s site or that link does it specifically state the 12th. Am I missing something? It’s the same page as before.
