Sony Ericsson T715 slider coming in Q3 2009
There’s nothing extraordinarily fancy about Sony Ericsson’s newly announced T715, but it should handle everything you could possibly throw at it — as long as you don’t need a QWERTY keyboard or a proper smartphone. The new slider features a 2.2-inch QVGA screen that SE claims will be visible in direct sunlight (pretty nifty if it actually works). Slap on a capable 3.2 megapixel shooter, Google Maps, AccuWeather and Microsoft Exchange support and you have yourself the winner of just-above-averageness. Best of all, it will be available in European and American versions with 3G support for both. Woo hoo! Q3 of this year is as close as we have to a release date for the time being — anyone looking forward to it?

Looking forward to it?….not really btw first!
Sony Ericsson is forever having something come out next quarter. They need to put something out NOW!
Sony Ericsson has the most boring looking phones ever. If they didn’t have good camera phones, their phones would be irrelevant. They need a PSP phone like Lebron Needs SHAQ!!!
I almost forgot. You can buy sony ericsson phones unlocked from them, without having to go through a carrier and without having to go through some online – you don’t know where the company is located at – vendor. This business model should be adopted by ALL phone companies.
Sweet. Looks like Nokia N95-1
FAIL
I would have been excited about the design of this phone…5 years ago.
no band IV support?
it’s 10000% sure!
shame on you!
supposedly this comes with NetFront web browser, which if it is anything like on the sony X series walkman, will be a pain to use.
i actually want to get the PINK one TOMORROWWWWW!!! T____T i cannot wait for it, really.
