Nokia holding five hour sale tomorrow, online and in Flagship Stores

Apparently Nokia’s online sale last week was pretty effective because the Finnish manufacturer has decided to give it another go. This time around the sale is good at both Nokia Flagship Stores — in New York and Chicago — and online as well for those who don’t live near a shop. Here’s how this one shapes up:
- 5800 $280.00
- E63 $195.00
- E66 $275.00
- E71 $285.00
- E75 $380.00
- N79 $260.00
- N85 $330.00
- N95 8G $355.00
- N96 $440.00
Not bad at all, Nokia. As you can see, some of the prices are even better than last week’s deal and all fall into range off the 30-50 percent off. So when can you get your Symbian fix on the cheap? Thursday, June 25th in New York City from 11am-4pm local time (Eastern) and in Chicago from 10am-3pm local time (Central). The sale will also be going down in the same time slot on nokiausa.com. Anyone eyeing some new kit?

When they had the online 3 hour sale the other night I went after the E75 and noticed it was only available in red. So….watch the backorder notes.
its nice to see Zach E actually respond. I mean he has so much time invested in his “3g S vs 3GS” blog…
@ StevenGlansberg – I agree. The N95 is several years old, but what it can do is amazing. The UI is showing it’s age but but as far as what it is capable of, it stands strong with phones that are brand new to the market. I have both N95-3 NAM and N95 8GB. I would suggest getting the N95-3 over the 8GB. N95-3 is expandable to 16GB. The screen isn’t as large and the UI isn’t as pretty as the 8BG, but having hot swapable memory can be handy.
Hello,
Just a word of advice based on recent experience. I purchased online from Nokia USA, the N97. They billed twice my credit card and sent me two phones. At the end I did noit like the N97 and I am still trying to return it and the “extra phone” they sent but their Customer line to obtain a Return Authorization is always busy or you get on hold for hours. After two hours on hold finally someone answer my call and told me I was out of the first 7 days to ask for my money back.
I told them, this is the 9th day and I have been trying to get with you guys since 3 days ago.
They did not care, even when I told them they had charged me twice.
Still trying to work out the problem.
It is best to go to a flagship store.
Extremely unfair situation.
umm yeah, the N97 is a big PoS! and is giving Nokia so many problems right now! all sorts of issues and no way to fix them at all. Dealing with that phone is such a big headache, and Nokia’s customer service cant do anything when you contact them to say the phone is malfunctioning, they just tell you to send it in for repair or wait til there is a newer ver of the firmware. if you want to return the phone its nearly impossible to get through to the sales dept, and when you contact cust serv they trans you to the sales dept, and you can nver get a hold of anyone. i will never buy a nokia phone again in my lifetime, there are way better phones out there especially if your looking for something with a touchscreen and a keyboard!!
Are you trying to sell your phones now?
Yes, I sold them today on Ebay, I lost money because I needed to pay my credit card so I offered them at $575.00 and after one hour I sold both of them.
Thank you Nokia USA and your terrible customer care service over the phone, I lost $200.
I do agree 110% with the boys genius review on the N97. Only if I had read it before placing the order.
My experience with Nokia USA, was a rip off!!!
I ordered two e63 from their June 20 sale for $167 each. Paid for overnight delivery. Nokia doesn’t even have them in stock (it’s now July 9). On June 24 Nokia offered the e63 for $195. They were not even in stock! I you ordered the phones thinking you’re getting the $50 rebate – forget that, it expired on June 30. No phone in hand, no rebate. So, I’ll get my overnight delivery overnight, but, it’ll just take 4 weeks? to fill my order. Maybe Nokia should have a “fill your order” charge. After waiting for 2 hours on a customer care (what a joke) service provider to answer the phone, they said I could cancel my order if I wasn’t happy with their answers about my order. Nokia’s customer service department and website is a big joke!
