OK, How good are you guys??? I have one that Verizon says is 100% hack proof. It is a Casio G’zOne Boulder. As with ALL the carriers it is locked out so you have to keep spending money with the company. I’ve tried pasteing, copy in email, Bluetooth transfer, send in a text. NOTHING worked, if it isn’t a downloaded ringtone from Verizon, it won’t load on the phone.

OK, had to post something…. I love both phones for different reasons. Iphone is pretty and very cool. Does it stand up to Blackberry? NO. A blackberry is for smart people, is it just that way. I want my Im’s, emails and contacts right away and done correctly. The push capabilities on an Iphone are crap, we all know that. But, a Blackberry cannot play Quake or tons of other cool games that an Iphone can. A blackberry is my workhorse and the Iphone is a toy.

And O yea… ATT SUCKS IT IN EVERY WAY. The Iphone and ATT together is like two children trying to con everyone.

Blackberry and Sprint is like an amazing service that is cheap and smart peeps can actually use in business and geekness.

Ok I’m not sure if this applies but, I had sent a mms text message from my phone and added pics/photos, I used my email as recepient and went into my email from iPhone while in email I had 3 options 1of which was save files (3photos) after I saved them they showed up in camera roll.

I upgraded my 1.1.3 OS 2G iPhone Saturday to OS 3.0, then unlocked and jailbroke it using RedSnOw. Worked like a charm. I just followed the instructions over at iClarified (http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=4302). It is now working quite nicely on T-Mobile. Life is good!!!

Here’s the deal. You can hate Apple and AT&T all you want, but they did one major thing right. They made every iPhone owner buy a data plan. That may sound stupid, but imagine your iPhone or BB without it. It’s a paperweight. It’s useless. Yeah, a BB can send mms, but can every BB owner check their email?No. Yeah, a BB can shoot video, but can ever BB owner surf the web? No. The iPhone can now do anything a BB can do, but easier, faster, and without the need to push all those microscopic buttons. If you’re still convinced that your BB is the better phone, ask yourself one question : why is the entire OS of a BB 48 MB, when an iPhone UPDATE is over 200 MB. Scary. Ok, I’ve gotta go and fill up the 32 gigs of space I have. How much storage is on your Curve???

Apple have the right idea, the’re in it for the $$$ they don’t give a shit about what the other companies are putting in their phones. If they can sell a phone that doesn’t have flash, doesn’t have 8 mpxl camera, bluetooth file sharing or anything that may have been standard in phones 5 years ago and still make a shitload of money, good on them. If every year they come out with a new phone with features that should have been standard in the first one, and STILL sell it and STILL make a shitload of money, who’s to say they shouldn’t? From a business standpoint, the’re kicking ass.

All I have to say is that the iPhone’s ideas are going to be the future phones! If u look at what their doing and how they are doing it, it just makes sense! And yes they are not on top as of rite now because it took them so long to make their phones have the standards that most phones have today because alot of people wasn’t ready for the change and they should of had this stuff already availible! But it’s about being different and about being hard to compete with! U don’t have to like the iPhone but for them to have around 20% of smart phones and only competing with one phone! That’s crazy! I am not a genius about this stuff but I do no when something is worth hanging on to! Remember this: technology is coming and alot of fones do the same thing but the iPhone is in a class by itself! Sooner or later those same phones that everybody has alike will be trading theirs in for an apple! Look at the new iPhone 3GS! It may not offer alot no u now but look at what they are doing! With apple the future Is now or at least they are working on it!
