Happy iPhone 3G S day, boys and girls!

Do you see anyone you know standing in that line? Today is the day to pack up your toys, gadgets and snacks, and head out to Apple/AT&T/Rogers/Fido/Carphone Warehouse or wherever else if you didn’t order your iPhone online to be shipped. After all, it’s either lines today or a test of patience down the road. Be sure you are well prepared and are up to date on pricing and details on grabbing your iPhone; we wouldn’t want to see anyone turned away after spending an entire morning or afternoon (or both) braving the elements, wherever you are. After all the pics and updates we’ve given you, everything has finally culminated to this moment. Let us know what lines in your area are like — if there even are lines in your area — and how easy or difficult it was to leave the store with your shiny, new iPhone 3G S in hand!

No thanks, I’ll wait for the Tour.
wow thats just crazy!!
good luck folks
what a crazy line! NO LINES in front of our store in N.C.!!!
the new upgrade procedure is SWEET too!!! every customer i had that had a phone from last year was automatically eligble to jump on a 3G S!!!
Get iPhone. Get iPhone. iPhone Zombies!
I was home 45 min after the store opened, There were 5 of us in line at 6:45… Not to bad at Kent ohio. By the way I am quite impressed, this is my first apple product and had a Tilt and Omnia liking both of them. I swore I would never leave WinMo but now I am sure I made a good choice because this thing is fast. I have to really get used to the layout which is going to take some time just like it did when I had WM5. All in all I am happy with my new purchase 32gb black.
i got it yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
No line at my local AT&T store in Westchester, NY. Waited for 2 preorders and was out the door by 7:30!
Why would people stand in line when they could preorder the device(s)?
Oh, wait, that’s right – hundreds of thousands DID preorder the device(s)!
Had a line for ppl that preordered but now we are dead….and we definitly did not get enough 16GB…sold out already.
genius…i mean gauntlet
even if u preorder the wait is 7-14days as of sunday!
so i would take the wait in line!!!
Patiently (or not)waiting for my fedex delivery truck
NO LINES out here in southeastern Michigan
…how’s the 3GS doing everyone? I hear the screen
i dont celebrate this day !!!!!
If the iPhone jumps to VZW, the lines will be much more crazier!
I’m always fascinated by individuals who need their devices the day that they’re released haha… I can understand lining up for something on discount or some door crasher deals, but for a new device that is just regular price.. I don’t get it.. have fun lining up tho
If you can’t wait 14 days, you should be ashamed of yourself. It’s just a phone.
Much better weather here in Manhattan to pick those babies up this morning . The weather yesterday was just AWFUL .
Wait until 2010,don’t do it now. Fighting the machine is the only way apple will learn. This “new” iphone isn’t worth it. And if you are on VZW,you’ll also be getting the iphone in 2010. Don’t get the Bold,I mean Tour,I mean Bold.
Dear swagger,
Don’t insult the bold like that!!

That s#!t is sad.
in and out…no lines what so ever..
No lines at all in the Bronx, mainly I think because this AT&T store only opened less than a month ago, I saw them open at 8 am and was prepared to go in and take the plunge on a pre-order but they said they were in stock for now so I was pleasantly surprised. I only did it because they let me jump on the $199 price tag, which is exactly what i sold my older 3G for so its all good.
easy as pie if you reserved it on line, if not little bit more difficult but some who didnt reserve one got out with two, the apple stores had the longer lines. at&t customers were in a and out
once verizon gets this phone i will be switching-att can do whatever they want with pricing/upgrade while ppl respond like this-what if they charged 400 for everyone?? ppl would still but it. i am gonna purchase at the 400 then leave happily when big red takes over-att is a miserable company
Sad indeed.
