Well, our tipster was indeed correct. And let’s be honest here for a sec; we’ve nailed this puppy to the wall. Verizon faithful will be overjoyed to find out that the BlackBerry Tour has gone official (albeit without an official announce just yet). There isn’t a whole lot of information available on their product page at the moment, but hey, you’ve waited this long…

Well I admit it, I’m pretty psyched. I’m not even sure I care what it looks like, as long as it has more memory, can go global, has a keyboard, and has more memory, (and did I mention… has more memory?). My 8830 is on it’s last breath, so bring it on verizon. Ready and waiting!

Congrats to all you VZW peeps. Tour sounds awesome. I’ve totally loved my Bold and now you’re getting the good stuff too. I got the e71x to compare to my Bold. Bold kicked its ass. Can’t wait to check out the Tour!

Interesting fact about Verizon — as of when I last checked about 30 seconds ago, VZ no longer has the Blackberry Pearl available on the website. Even with the Flip coming on Friday, I’m surprised they pulled it. Some people will still want the candybar suretype form-factor.
Now all we need is a drop date, and we can all start getting on line to hold our place, or like some of us, call our biz rep and get it overnighted for a day one NEW TOY. Can’t wait…july 13th can’t come fast enough…
