BlackBerry Tour goes live on Verizon Wireless’ site
Well, our tipster was indeed correct. And let’s be honest here for a sec; we’ve nailed this puppy to the wall. Verizon faithful will be overjoyed to find out that the BlackBerry Tour has gone official (albeit without an official announce just yet). There isn’t a whole lot of information available on their product page at the moment, but hey, you’ve waited this long…

How different is this any different from the current Bold i have ? Seems to me like the same phone in a smaller package, meh

Well my first guess is that the major difference between this and the Bold you have is the fact that this one is available on Verizon with CDMA rather than AT&T’s GSM network. Is that enough of a difference for you?
Wonder how many of those wetting themselves over the same tired form factor running the same dated OS with awful UI are also those who bashed the iPhone 3GS for arguably the same reasons?
Does anyone know what OS this is launching with?
I hope the build quality will be solid like the Bold and not like the Curve 8900, it feels cheap and that damn battery door needs 2 credit cards to not shake.
Can this phone be unlocked to work on Verizon and Sprint

I called VZW and they said the Tour will start shipping on the 19th. No word on price, but coming soon for sure!

I think the 19th is wrong. You have the devices mixed up. June 19th is the release date for the Blackberry Flip aka 8230 on Verizon.
Tour is on the rebate list for Verizon….prices effective starting JUNE 28TH!!!!
