T-Mobile’s Samsung Bigfoot
One of our trusty ninjas just hit us up with the above photo of Samsung’s Bigfoot Android device slated to hit T-Mobile USA this summer. We’ve been told it will rock a 3 megapixel camera, be a UMTS/HSDPA device, and sport a 3.0″ capacitive AMOLED touch screen display. We’d guess it will have integrated GPS and Wi-Fi but that’s just us talking. The best news? We hear its launching soon. Like, really soon. Hey Samsung, copying Sony Ericcson’s crazy color hues much?

The G1 “elegant in real life”!?!? [Huh?]
The G1 is the most utilitarian touch-screen smartphone there is; there is nothing elegant, sleek or graceful about the hardware (IMO). The OS is what makes it cool.
Bigfoot has a better design than the G1, but looks cheap. Haven’t seen the tech specs to see how they compare functionally.

exactly. it’s original codename was probably uglyfoot before it reached the marketing team.
it will most likely have all those keys but they will be “invisible” and they will light up when in use.

This phone looks much better and more refined in person. This pic makes it look like a bloated Helio (Pantech) Ocean.
I really wish there was some new news about the mytouch 3g! But this handset looks pretty nice.. I want an all touch screen android device!
I can’t tell you how GRATEFUL I am that they preserved device space that COULD have been a larger LCD so they could emblazon their name. MUCH better use of space.. truly. How about an extensible boom mic so that I can talk quietly? ??

Im not denying that the device is real but im just thinking that it doesnt run android and prob just a proprietary samsung OS (touch wiz) bc like stated it needs those hardware buttons… i think the keyboard is ugly and so is the color but if it were an all touch device it would look nice

I actully LOVE the color but its probley because im a teenager lol so i understand all of your point of views too. lol but lime green is my favorite color lol it will match my ipod:) i hope this comes out like this month or july because i am in desperate need of a new phone since my t-mobile shadow is a piece of shi* lol
This is the first time that I have seen a picture of it in another color besides black… The black looks much better. Just do a google search on samsung bigfoot (images)… All of the pics of it is in black..

Looks like there are buttons blended into the bottom trim of the phone.
earlier reports said it would only have a QVGA resolution. if that’s the case this phone will be a p.o.s.

This is why Tmo can’t compete with the at&t, because the devices are uggggggggggly! Holy S**T!!!!! if the world drools over the Iphone, why not create something that resembles it, I’m not saying copy it to a tee, but at least try to make the phones sexy! This is just another piece of visual crap! I guess, i’ll keep my iphone on t-mobile until someone decides to compete! I love t-mobile but hate their phone selections!….good God, I will have nightmares over the pre-teen looking piece of S**T!
