T-Mobile’s Samsung Bigfoot

One of our trusty ninjas just hit us up with the above photo of Samsung’s Bigfoot Android device slated to hit T-Mobile USA this summer. We’ve been told it will rock a 3 megapixel camera, be a UMTS/HSDPA device, and sport a 3.0″ capacitive AMOLED touch screen display. We’d guess it will have integrated GPS and Wi-Fi but that’s just us talking. The best news? We hear its launching soon. Like, really soon. Hey Samsung, copying Sony Ericcson’s crazy color hues much?

Thanks, Daddy G.!

I like. Green is a tad too funky, but I’m hoping there will be other (black), much calmer (black), more professional (black) color choices.

Great device to replace my G1.

Not really digging the color, makes it look cheap. Otherwise it looks pretty good.

Umm, why does this look like crap? Who knows, the G1 looked really funky in pics but was far more elegant in real life. The G2/Ion/Magic is also very, very nice.

Looks like a cheaper version of the behold (or nicer version of the gravity). It looks very similiar to one of the pics post on tmonews a few weeks ago on the forums.

Come on VZW get an Android handset already.

Oh, now I remember, VZW will get one. However, it will not be the Google branded version, nor the version that works with the Google app store. Instead it will simply be the operating system and all purchases will be locked into VCrap….

Samsung is really churning out some hawt stuff. Hate the colors but so far looks good. I actually prefer Samsungs hand sets better than the iphone. Apple just wins because off the countless redundant apps. I.e 60 Weather Apps?

I like it a lot but why cant we get an Android device with a screen the size of the iPhone. Why hasnt anyone matched their screen size yet?

Also, Adam and oldmanhorton are right, all the current Android phones have the same amount of keys on them. Send, End, Menu, Home and Back.

If it’s for tmobile then it will have AWS.
I think that the home, back, call, and end keys are around the dpad but hidden, since its a MUST to have those keys if its running Android.

The send, end, menu, home, and back keys may be touch sensitive, like the send and end keys on the N97 or the gesture pad on the Palm Pre. It looks too real to be fake. Samsung has been pretty regular with new stuff, and this fits them. Plus, BGR has a decent track record on this stuff lately. I trust in them right now.
