Simply a great phone …. used it for over a week … even threw up a quick review. Rev A works in some rural areas (It’s the network Borderline smartphone at minimum … and you forgot the Dolby stereo output which is awesome (so is the autofocus on the camera/vidcam). Only thing missing is HD!

That’s good to know about the Dare from everyone above – I’ll definitely check out the Touch. My VX 8600 doesn’t look so cool anymore. However, the same goes for my work-supposed BB 8700c …

env touch is night and day compared to other touch phones – the touch screen is so so so accurate and user friendly…it has a doc viewer to view .doc, .xls, .ppt files – this is not ur regular line of the mill phone folks. there are other features on this phone that is new and not like other phones like the dare……the browser is the best ive see, FULL html, not half like the dare or versa, full as in all scripts of flash plus tabs

I went from the voyager to the dare and was happy about it. then i went to the storm from the dare. i was missing my dare a bit, but the storm just did way to much for me to go back to a “dumbphone”. this new enV touch (voyager2) looks like a dare with a qwerty so as far a nonsmartphones go, it’s probably ok. just my opinion

@ Dustin, I have the Dare since it came out last year and can tell you that the speaker phone is not the greatest. It’s a cool little phone that does not need a data package.

I’ve been waiting to see what Verizon did post-Dare, but I’m afraid the enV Touch’s “stamps” UI looks a little gimmicky. I guess I’ll keep waiting. Or just give up and get the Dare now that the price dropped. I’m starting to believe this “Verizon gets no cool phones” nonsense …

i checked out a couple of days ago a Youtube review on the Touch. this guy says actually he switched from the Storm to the EnvTouch. (that should tell you something about its ’smart phone’ capability’s) and the browser loaded super fast, full HTML one.

the EnvTouch is Rev. A. thats a big deal, the full HTML browser is great. the name Env for this device is misleading, really, it accomplishes so many things that of a smart phone-class phone does. without having the title smart phone on it.
