Zach, what does exactly “training” mean?

If I am assuming what it means than are people just too stupid to simply know how to use a device? How can people be so tech illiterate?

I just got off the phone with a T-Mobile CSR who said that she couldn’t tell me about the new phones coming in August. Then she said late July / August, so it sounds like the July 22nd may still be intact.

I wonder if there is a 3 to 4 week window for WM6.5 availability…

Look for all the new 3G devices that T-Mo is releasing this year. Example Dash 2, Touch, Wing 2, and 3G Curve. If you were smart you would have a 8900 and use the UMA function to ensure a signal in your office through WiFi. Plus no one is trying to get ahold of you and your lonely Friday/Saturday nights.

@Jeremiah, I agree. TMO is smart to go after that market. The other carriers do as well. But TMOs problem is that there are very few options available for other customers, like me, who have been quite loyal and want a business oriented smart phone.

Curve 8900 is nice, but not 3G. ATT/VZW/Sprint each have non-teeny bopper options.

In the end I may move anyway, I am in Manhattan and there is no TMO signal where I work so I may switch just so I can use my cell phone during the day.

Nice. I’m still getting the BlackBerry Driftwood when it launches, but one of these outta hold me over till then.

I think I’ll finally port my Sprint number to T-Mobile for one of these. Anyday now T-Mobile?

While I can definitely relate to your feelings of disappointment with regards to the “utter paucity of handheld selection,” you have to give credit to BlackBerry Curve 8900 also. Plus, at least the Sidekick LX 2009 is pretty on par now with other handsets.

Besides, in case you haven’t noticed, the newest subscribers are “[female] teeny boppers,” and not high-end cellphone connoisseurs.

Not a moment too soon for TP2. I have been TMO customer for 7 years and thus punished with their utter paucity of handheld selection, the brick G1 being the lone exception. If I see one more sidekick released I am going to puke.

TMO is this || close to losing me if they dont get their dang act together REAL soon and focus on customers other than female teeny boppers.
