HTC Ozone gets spied on its way to Verizon
There’s no question — the HTC Snap was in dire need of yet another moniker. Snap, Cedar and Willow were hardly enough so our pals at Verizon have gone and added another name to the pile… Say hello to the HTC Ozone. With Sprint’s version of the Snap jumping off this Sunday, we had a sneaking suspicion that Verizon’s Snap wouldn’t be far behind. Lo and behold, one of our Verizon ninjas just swooped down and dropped this screenshot on us. So far no pricing or release timing are available but training is set to kick off next week so the release shouldn’t be too far off. Notables from the provided info are Wi-Fi, Microsoft My Phone compatibility, Visual Voicemail, VZ Nav, Internet Explorer 6 mobile and of course the fact that it’s a world phone. u guys that like BB’s are so funny its sad. seriously…the tour wont have wifi…vzw already has 3 wnmo phones with wifi…this one will have wifi…and if u think BB browser is good try opera 9.5… BB’s sucks balls….they look like 1990s crap compared to 6.1 or 6.5

This looks terrible. I’m ready for something new and ground breaking. Come on Verizon step your game up! I’m sick of my Storm and I’m sure I’ll be sick of the Storm 2.
Is it just me or is the keyboard design way off. How come the keys on the second row on the keyboard (asdf..etc) is slightly smaller then the qwerty…etc buttons above? why is the space button all the way towards the right when it should be in the middle!!!

Winmo std 6.1 or 6.5? My prototype Moto Napoleon (a4500) has a kick-ass keyboard but is otherwise the same phone, so I doubt this will make me switch.
Finally, Verizon getting some decent worldphones. The rest of them SUCK.

Um, i730, i830, i760, HTC 6700, HTC 6800, i770, Omnia, HTC Touch Pro, Touch Diamond…
Those are all verizon smartphones that have/had WiFi.
Its too bad they released the diamond way to late seriously

It looks like the upgrade to the htc s640 up here that telus had. I don’t like it. Blackberry wanna be. I still like the touch pro2. Now that is a sick device.

I played with one of these today.
It is very very nice.
Lots of great features.
The space key will take a little getting used to.
But all in all, it will be a great replacement for my aging Q9c
Looks like HTC or maybe vzw are making a better effort to get thier branded phones out sooner

Why would you put the answer and call end buttons on the side where you normally hold the phone in your hand! You will constantly be hanging up on people. Just ridiculous!!!
