lol @ alen. Actually, I used to feel the same way until I decided to give the Kindle 2 a try. There is not too much arguing the price, but you do get free wireless access etc., and if you are reading the display is actually pretty nice.

I like the convenience of being able to get a new issue of the Wall Street Journal “delivered” every morning, and the new DX promises a native PDF reader.

looks good but still has the worst refresh when you turn the page. The whole screen flashes, turns black and then displays the next page. Not at all distracting I’m sure.

In my experience, Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport’s had much worse delays than Hartsfield-Jackson–DFW reference would have seemed more appropriate, at least for me.
