Live images of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 “Aries” emerge

Another day, another up and coming BlackBerry spotted in the wild. Today’s device is the BlackBerry Curve 8530, codenamed Aries. A CDMA variant of the T-Mobile bound Curve 8520 Gemini, the Aries features the same QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera, dedicated media keys, microSD support, rubberized body, metal battery door and oh so nice optical trackpad. As for whether or not the Aries will share the same pre-paid fate as the Gemini remains to be seen, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it become a BlackBerry in a Box. Hit the jump for a couple more pics.

Give crackberry some credit maybe?

@ Patrick
OMG, dude!! You should play the lottery. You’ve obviously got your mojo going. You were the first one to post on this thread! That is so cool!! My opinion of you really shot up on account of your ability to be – yep, you guessed it – FIRST!! You are the fucking MAN! I’ll be watching this blog with a great deal of interest to see if you can pull it off again! But with all respect, I’m gonna be trying to get a “first” (or ay least “second” ofmy own. If you have any tips or advice, I know I speak for everyone, please pass it along
Once again, Patrick, great job!! You were first. That’s awesome!!
What do you do for a living?

^^try convincing a jury with that kinda monolouge there.
Why is tht carpet always there?
The ‘first’ posters are childish carry-overs of what started in the 90s on public boards. The internet has not grown up despite its age, nor have its users. To think that your father, at your age, was playing games on the internet-equivalent of the time would lower his status in everyone’s eyes. It doesn’t excuse them, but by making a pariah of those who still practice this, continues the down-ward spiral the ‘first’ poster began.
On this Memorial Day weekend, imagine what the “greatest generation” might not have accomplished had they wrongly believed they were above it, that it was someone else’s problem to fight, that their country owed them. What sacrifice that makes you uncomfortable are you making?

Lighten up. Patrick’s post is just juvenile-hard to argue that point. Memorial Day weekend aside has nothing to do with it.
@ joe tour (is that really your name?)
Try convincing a jury of what with what argument? You lost me.

The mettle which makes (or made) men what they are is in rare supply. Where it exists, it carries over into all aspects of life and knows no boundaries. Even ‘internet’ life. Just as with your wedding anniversary, religious or national holidays, those aspects of life that go on neglected eventually break down into the meaningless event of lip service and 25%-off sales. Maintaining that status quo of today’s men doesn’t lead. It follows the weak.
@ conrad.
You just made a very articulate case for being ‘first’. Just complementing you on a job well done. With your lawyers’ professionalism
Somebody is selling the domain name on ebay, people work fast! lol
i THOUGHT THIS POST WAS ABOUT THE PHONE NOT THE PERSON WHO POSTED IT.
DO YOU ALL HAVE ANY OPINIONS ABOUT THE PHONE?
