“Morrison” confirmed as another Android phone from Motorola

Earlier this month we confirmed Motorola has a QWERTY slider, codenamed Morrison, headed to T-Mobile this October — now thanks to T-Mobile’s Android roadmap we see that the Morrison will indeed be packing Android. Joining the likes of Calgary and IRONMAN, the Morrison will be one of several Android-powered handsets issued by Moto this year. Hooray QWERTY! Not much else can be said about this sleek-looking Moto for the time being but if history has taught us anything… We should be learning plenty more about this handset soon enough. According to our Walmart roadmap the Morrison should touch down sometime in October (for $148 on contract from Walmart), giving Android lovers plenty of time to consider it for the holidays.

Where are Sprint’s Android devices. I am sick of WinMo and the Pre is not going to cut it.

@Goat – why won’t the Pre cut it? I’ve used Android for 6 months and I doubt there is anything it can do that the Pre can’t.

Not only do I detest that form-factor but also my bad experiences with Palm devices. I will probably never buy another Palm device.

I would like to see a Android come to Big Red. Would add a second line just for that.

Wasn’t there a new Moto that was like a silver brushed mettle that had QWERTY that was aimed for VZW?

doubt android is coming to verizon any time soon. Android is all about being open platform, aka everything verizon goes against. What were the last verizon devices to bypass their gps/wifg crippling thugs?
