Pre-order your enV Touch today from Best Buy Mobile or snag one early from Verizon Wireless
Well, it certainly is not the BlackBerry Storm but the LG enV Touch must rank high up on the Verizon Wireless ladder as it is seemingly getting the same pre-order treatment. Starting today, Best Buy Mobile is launching a pre-order sale for the upcoming LG enV Touch. A mere $50 deposit will guarantee that you can walk out of Best Buy holding this upcoming touchscreen QWERTY clamshell on its June 5th launch date. We are not sure that this handset warrants such “first day sellout hysteria” status but if have five sawbucks burning a hole in your pocket, then what do you have to lose? Those felling a bit more adventurous can try their hand at scoring an enV Touch extra early from Verizon Wireless. Several members over on Howard Forums have reported success in ordering the handset early from telesales and at least one or two have already received the phone. Well, I got my Env Touch tonight. So far I like it, its like the Dare with a qwerty keyboard. The only thing Im having trouble with is the re-spacing of the space key. I keep on expecting the letter “b” to be there. Its between the letter V and B. Other than that so far so good.

The enV touch is a great improvement on the Voyager. The redesigned form factor and keyboard feel great. And the UI looks and feels a lot smoother. Overall this phone is a nice addition to LG’s great lineup of full QWERTY phones.
I’ve had them in my store since May 28 and we’ve sold I believe 2 since then. I knew, at least at my store, we wouldn’t have a big demand to do the pre-orders but I still offered the pre-sales to my customers. This phone is actually in the ad for May 31-June 6 and it has a nice price point too.
