ASUS Eee Keyboard to reach market next month
In the age of job losses, slowed progress and a floundering economy, tech is getting hit as hard as any industry. As stands to reason, we’ve seen slowed progress of late in terms of new technology coming to market. Sure there’s a nice looking piece of kit that surfaces every now and again but overall, the market lacks excitement. While ASUS’s upcoming Eee Keyboard might not be revolutionary per se, it is most definitely a breath of fresh air in what is otherwise a fairly stagnant market. We gave you the specs on this PC-in-a-keyboard back in January and for the most part, readers agreed: the Eee Keyboard is @&#%$!& cool. Now, according to Engadget’s Chinese counterpart, the sexy little PC will finally reach market by the end of June. We presume, unfortunately, that we’re looking at an initial launch confined to the Asian market but we really hope ASUS spreads this puppy out fast because we can’t get our grubby mitts on it soon enough. Look for official launch details to emerge from Computex during the first week of June.

I hope it’ll have desktop type components (CPU, graphics..) laptops even when all specs are identical run slower than a desktop. Otherwise.. looks cool.. Im partial to ergonomic however.
oohh tell me more, tell me more, was it love at first sight? duda ba ba, duuda baa ba…
Supposedly you are able to change the date on the calendar at any time, on the fly… even on a whim.

Nice! you’ve been doing these a lot. If nickelodeon starts tech blog, you’ll be a shoe-in.
This thing looks really cool. Good for Asus.

Zach has never been the most gifted writer here. You can’t expect much from a journalistic stand-point though. This is BGR after all.
I don’t get it. Why would any body want a screen on a key board.
the screen on the keyboard is not the main screen, its a small touchscreen for spacial apps. The PC has a full set of outputs on the back, including VGA, USB, etc.
It’s like an Imac, except the guts are integrated into a keyboard instead of the screen.
too small screen
