Samsung Alias 2 now available from Verizon Wireless

As expected, the Samsung Alias 2 is now available from Verizon Wireless. The dual hinge clam shell with dynamic electronic ink keypad will set you back a mere $79 after a $50 MIR/online discount with a 2-year contract. A 1-year contract will cost you $149 after a $50 MIR/online discount and full retail is $259. If you need more than one Alias 2, the phone is part of Big Red’s classic buy-one-get-up-to-four-free offer. Just a word of caution as the additional free handsets do require a 2-year commitment. If anyone heads out to his or her local Verizon Wireless store and picks up this bad boy today, give us a shout in the comments with your first impressions.

I think the SIZE (Length) is good… especially if you are a guy. I often find phones too short rather than too long.

I like this phone. I like the dedicated blue tooth button, I hated navigating through the menu’s to get to the blue tooth on my old phone. The length is perfect for me, but I like a phone this is longer and a little bulkier. I have bigger hand and some of the flimsy toys that I have had in the past really irritated me. It is not only great for teenagers like someone above said, but it is also great for us 30 somethings that don’t need a smart phone.
