Palm and Sprint announcing Pre availability May 19th in the WSJ?
We just got a tip from a very proven tipster who informed us that Palm and Sprint were set to make a big announcement in the Wall Street Journal on May 19th. They said that there’s a very good chance of Palm and Sprint announcing the Pre release date then. Confusing, eh? Well, if we were betting boys, our money would be on Tuesday the 19th. We will soon see!

May 19th Huh? I would really have liked to be sportin this phone at a memorial day cookout but guess ill have to wait until that June 3-7th timeframe.
Though i am dissappointed loyal sprint customers who have been around for years have to find out through a newspaper when were supposed to be “Premier” Customers and should have known by now

very doubtful itll be released the 24th. Current Sprint rebate sheets go until June 6th. That June 7th weekend rumor is sounding more real
If this thing turns out to be another Instinct, I will be pissed. My Mogul is acting up. It randomly calls people out of my address book. It needs to be retired. If this is too expensive – ATT or keep calling people.

I’d like to know what Sprint Gains by Screwing over all of the SERO Plan Holders once again?
Sprint Claimed they would Not Redo the Mistakes they made by refusing to sell the Instinct to SERO Plan holders yet here we go again.
Sprint is only getting a Six Month Exclusive on the PRE so why screw over upwards of 1,000,000 SERO Plan Holders when they are already Bleeding Customers and cash. Why on earth would you cause greater harm to your bottom line by pissing of your most loyal patrons?
Would your Board of Directors and Stock Holders Agree to such piss poor financial moves?

I agree. I really wanted this phone but palm and sprints lack of info has been pretty crappy. Also if they are really planning on releasing with only 375k phones to create hype then thats a crappy decision too.

This phone looked awesome in January. But, now I just realized about iPhone 3.0 and it is on sprint again. All of sudden, this phone looks less attractive.

I’m so tired of this game Palm likes playing. They keep trying to make this phone relevant. I think most of the people who were initially excited about it has moved on. I think the G1 update was and is bigger news. Move on people, there is nothing to see.
