    I’m not regretting it.
It’s currently one of the best phones on the network….but believe me, I’m shelving it when something nicer comes along.

@JDane07 – sucks that one of the best phones is one you can’t wait to be superseded, good business I guess.

    Translation from PreCentral comments:

    1st pic says:

“To utilise your Palm Pre phone, you must accept the terms and conditions of Palm and create A PALM PROFILE – by introducing an active email address.

Why do I need a Palm profile?

A Palm profile lets you access services such as automatic backup of your data and much more.

The configuration profile is different from the Palm e-mail settings in the phone.
To set up email, see page 11

How can I transfer data from your computer?

On the computer, look for an email to the address used to configure the profile of Palm. Click the link in the email to verify your Palm profile. The link will take you to a website where one could make data transfers at once to your phone from desktop organisers such as Outlook and Palm Desktop. This transfer is the way to get data from your old Palm smartphone to your new phone.”

Wow, the Pre box. WTF! By the way, I saw the training video on gestures today. It seems as if they have omitted the copied iPhone gestures, which is part if Apples IP. So far this device looks like all bark and no bit.

This will be released on AT&T, and verizon by end of this year. Palm pre might stay with Sprint, but Web OS will not stay with Sprint for more than 6 months.

I just dont get why Palm would copy the iPhone box style of all things. This is their chance to continue wowing us, and instead they make derivatives of the competition. You’d think they’d innovate on the packaging.

@sean76 Your absolute worst carrier has the best 3G network in the nation. I never had a problem with Sprint, I think their service is top notch. Every carrier has their weak spots. Sprint deserves the Palm Pre. I never had a problem with their customer service, people just make up stuff to bash other carriers. Can’t wait for the Pre.
