T-Mobile’s Walmart roadmap: Sony Ericsson CS8 hitting in September

It sure seems as if T-Mobile really loves high-resolution camera phones because in addition to launching the Samsung Memoir, they’re going to be rocking out with the Sony Ericsson CS8 come September. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 8.1 megapixel camera, UMTS — what’s not to love? The price for one. It’ll run you around $148 with a two year agreement straight from Wally World.

Hope you apply such tenacity in real life. You could get all the way to middle management at McDonald’s with that go get ‘em attitude.

Well I can spell, I understand the proper use of a contraction, and most importantly I think about what I’m going to add to the topic at hand instead of posting ‘first’.

Thought I’m sure you’re right. Telling the chicks how you were the first comment on a tech blog undoubtedly means you’re rolling in them.

I’m waiting for one with 3x optical zoom. That plus a good quality lens would make me happier than something with > 5 megapixel

I sure wish sony would get off the proprietary bandwagon they love so much. How about giving us an android or sym s60 platform.. hell, improve upon the windows base and just give us a smartphone so we can do something with it.
I wouldnt be eager to buy it if it had windows, but throw on the previous mentioned and I would be in line.

The Motozine ZN5’s camera is better than this phone’s camera, unless SE has improved on the C905.

I agree. This phone WILL take better pictures than the Samsung Memoir. The Memoir suck. The picture quality is horrible. My 3.5 mega pixel digital camera takes 10x better pictures than the Samsung Memoir.

I was on vacation in Seattle in the month of August. I was looking for a Sony Ericsson store and stumbled upon a corporate office located just outside of Seattle. I went into the sky-rise building hoping someone there could help me find a store where I could purchase a phone. To my surprise the gentleman there helped me more than expected. He handed me a CS8 free of charge and said have a nice day. Said it was not released in the US and it was a prototype. The back of the phone even says prototype under the battery. Sony Rocks. Thank you! I do not know who to thank. Sony has a customer for life here! Tmobile-USA compatible. I have never had a better phone or easier use from a cell phone. I recommend this phone when it is released. Been using the phone for almost a month now and no problems. I have put it through a lot and tried everything it was capable of with it.
