I had uninstall it today – the lag was killing me. It will be a great app once they work out all of the bugs. Until then Uber will work just fine.

I wish the had a 30 day trial. The $5 isn’t killing me, but I’m a little upset at the fact that I paid to be a beta tester.

That said, their support gets back to you crazy fast.

I like the push notifications idea for twitter mentions and direct messages, and maybe even custom search terms too.

Use ubertwitter or socialscope. They know how to gain happy, and loyal customers.

Maybe I am just sucking on the BGR teet, but as soon as this is available by paypal and for the Curve I’m on it. Ubertweet hasn’t updated for 8 days and Tweetberry makes me want to shoot myself in the head. Why the big deal about being charged? As other’s have said if you have a Blackberry and can’t afford it maybe you need a RAZR. Even if it sucks I’m willing to take the chance.

Not to mention you are supporting a site that you come to for valuable information or at least to flame iPhone owners.

Ok so I downloaded it on my curve, and it is not allowing me to sign on. Continuously tells me I have the wrong pword – I’m not an idiot and have not 4gotten it but somehow it wont let me sign in…any1 have that problem?

I removed it for now and will stick with SocialScope v9.5. It is snappier on my 8900, has a smaller footprint and has all the features I need: search; follow/unfollow; groups; Facebook integration; linking of twitter users to contacts)

Anon, I have 8900 and yes I am experiencing the lag as well. Noticed that last night right after I purchased the app. However, this morning it was a tiny bit faster. Wish it would be much snappier and hope that this will get modified asap.

Already sent this message to support but like I mentioned, I have been getting an incorrect username and password message when i try to log back in after i mistakenly hit logout on the options page. i know for a fact that my creds are correct. i love the app so far but being shut out of it because of this error is really really frustrating me. HELP!

For those experiencing the lag, what model of BlackBerry are you using? I am using a Curve 8900 and experience some lag in the tweet stream, as well as sometimes with typing. BG was using a Bold and it seemed pretty smooth. I have spoken with a couple other 8900 users and they are experiencing lag, as well.

I just bought the app. Biggest waste of 5 bucks in my life. The app IS cartoony and does absolutley nothing more than all the free twitter apps. BGR stop trying to rip people off and try to steal their money I a shit app that took a week to make. No inbox integration like yatca? Garbage. No free trial so you hype people up, make them buy shit, and then no refund. I want a fucking refund this is a complete waste. I use yatca and SS there’s no need for this garbage. Not even if it was free. I had faith in you BGR but just like always you reveal yourself to be a dumb cocksucker. If you didn’t blow whomever you do to get new gadget info, no one and I mean no one would be on this site. And for all you fanboys and ass kissers, do a comparisson and prove that it’s better. And bgr wants you to keep paying for every new version. Your lucky RIM doesn’t put a stop to this shit. Def won’t be up in App World. To crappy.
